Incredible! (A New Person Approaches The Forums)

Recommended Posts

Alright,this is incredible.

Today,talking with a friend,we downloaded a multiplayer demo of a 2002 GAME(Vietcong),he hosted a room and what happened?

a random person joins us,spams some odd stuff in a strange language and leaves, talking that the odd of it happening was 1,to some milions.Ok,we talk about what we could play next,I say Battle Realms. He dosent know the game,i go play some singleplayer, after 3 years of not playing it.After doing some missions (FOR THE SERPENT!) i close the game, totally randomly go check groups, select find groups, sort by most members.

Find lotus clan.I say,it cant be.Nope.So here i am.

Question:Why it has got so many nembers?

I believe Lotus Clan started out just for Battle Realms, then moved on to other games as their main course (although I do see some older lotus members playing it every now in then in Steam).

The lotus clan is a 'race' in the game Battle Realms, sort of like how the Orcs in Warcraft are a race. I don't think there was ever a 'pro gaming' clan called the lotus clan in battle realms. the fps pro gaming clan is named after the lotus clan in battle realms.

Lotus Clan has a very long history, reaching back in times of Battle Realms being an actively played game. This board, Gamingterritory how you might have noticed, was originally the main community for Battle Realms, especially after the Developers dropped their support. It's been run by Mana and Lotus Clan was the main 'grouping' ever since. The forums looked way different back then though, Mana might have some screenshots of them. While a lot of the old staff is already gone and we get new people, Sinophile who's the head Mod of the BR forums and a very long lasting member already explained correctly that the name actually did come from the Clan of Battle Realms. While the game activity started fading, Lotus Clan branched over to DMMM (Dark Messiah Might & Magic) and later TF2 where we rooted. You can still find the old DMMM archives here.

We have yet kept our BR forums alive under watch of Sinophile and you can still find some games, chatting or answers here and there.

I really just wonder why I just joined in TF2 :-(

I liked Ronins with double glas swords as I loved the assasin in DMMM
