Well my headset broke a few months ago, but I didn't mind cause i was too busy for games anyways.

But now that im playing often again I want some new ones.

what do you guys recommend?

Budget: around $150 tops

$150 for a headset is a bit much, I have the "Logitech G330 Gaming Headset", it goes for $60 and I haven't had any real problems with it, It has got it's price long overused. Think of how much a something of $1 gets you, I've used this headset for well over 2000 hours of talk time and it still works great.

1. Use the Lotus search thread. (A lengthy thread has already been posted)

2. Use Google, Amazon.com review, Newegg Review

If you want data, why not pool from a much greater body of data set? Why would you ask a forum with like 20 people reviewing instead of other sites with thousands of reviews? Too lazy to search? Want other people to post when you can find it yourself?

1. Spend less time watching demos and banning people and get a job. 150$ isn't a lot.

2. Logitech known for good headphones? Lawls. Try Sennheiser and AKG

How would Newegg's review be any more or less credible than any other forum? You think Lotus forums are filled with audiophile / audio engineers? At least with sheer numbers, you have more confidence on the distribution of review ratings. You go on lotus forum, everyone pretty much pitch in on the single item that they have. So you get maybe 2-4 products with 1 review each. Do you think Josh bought 10 headphones and sat down with the pros and cons? I dont think so.

I've had enough headphones in the past to say i'm happy with my current ones thank you, and I don't like my job but i'm still making money.

The thing is sex. When I play music on MOG which streams at 320 kbps, I am hearing things in songs I never hear before. You can even hear imperfections in the recording if they have any. Sounds great for games too.

I can... but I don't really. I feel like 320 kbps is pretty good enough. FLAC is just too much effort. Streaming on MOG with 320 is just more versatile. Don't have time or desire to micromanage. Maybe later when it becomes more mainstream. Most people wont give a shit since it wont matter on their hardware / headphones.
