JoinedSenses 559 #1 Posted July 8, 2012 Hello again, Lotus. Im not sure if anyone else has a beta Filmmaker at the moment. Started using it a few days ago and I'd like to share my creation following the tutorial on the SFM homepage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYFlfuNUEEo If anyone else is using SFM, let me know.

JoinedSenses 559 #9 Posted July 11, 2012 (edited) Fcuk yeah. Now I'll have some friends to play with. Also, there were a few problems and bugs with the program while using it. Not sure if they were fixed with this new update. A few issues I experienced: --If takes are removed from the shot through cleanup > manage takes, previously used camera angles/models/particles were still loaded in the current session and tricky to find. To remove those you'd have to add a new animation set for the items you wanted to remove for it to show up in the animation set list, then delete it from there. -w_kukri is missing from the game, but c_kukri was available. Meaning when I played as sniper in gamemode, switching to melee caused me to be engulfed in a giant ERROR sign, rather than having the kukri. The model was still a part of the filmmaker, but it needed to be added manually into the shot by first deleting the w_kukri ERROR "model" with the steps I listed above. Then add a new animation set for a new model, find c-Kukri, and lock the weapon_bone to the sniper hand. -Last thing I noticed was that character models (except scout) were shaded all black when taunting or playing in third person while in gamemode. Although that problem existed, any recorded characters would show up correctly in the shot. I never sought out a solution for this. If you've questions, let me know. ------------------- Made this in a few hours. 1920x1080 If you'd like a different size res, or the tga file for editing, let me know. I'm sure you know the reference... Edited July 11, 2012 by JoinedSenses
