Nano 7,892 #5 Posted August 9, 2012 I've worked as a tester for a major video game company and I can assure you that 1 person is NOT enough to test a game. We had large teams that did extremely thorough testing. I think perhaps that Valve needs a little bit of structuring if they ever want to have actual Quality Assurance, rather than the "we shove updates down your throat and then you puke it out because it has game-destroying bugs" approach they are on now. I'm glad that Valve has a playtester, but playtesting is only surface-level. You need to go deeper to be successful. Admit it, you are just clinging to an outdated model designed by imperial capitalists! Join the open movement. Less is more. Crowdsource that shit.
