Tell us about yourself and why you want to join Lotus Clan:

Hey everyone, I'm Ivan and after playing for a good 50 hours on your servers (mostly 24/7 Harvest in France) I've thought I could give a shot at joining your crew. I've met a lot of nice people on Lotus servers and it's the sense of community that keeps bringing me back.

Previous experiences include administering a sorta popular Minecraft server in 2010., moderator on a Croatian Travian (MMORPG) server, and running a small TF2 server I made for a few weeks. I am skilled with programming (mostly web development), and I know my way around SourceMod and rcon.

And that's pretty much it. If you wanna know anything else, just add me on Steam. I'm mostly online around 8/9PM CET. smile.png

Thanks for the kind words :) I've played the first game tonight on 32 slot 24/7 2fort United Kingdom and it was a lot of fun, especially towards the end as I finally got my revenge against bLooDyX (awesome spy skills mate!). Other Lotus members on the server were roguepanda, Dr. Obvious and Jericho. I despise 2fort but these guys, amongst others on the server have made it bearable for me :) My performance wasn't really the best considering I'm kinda busy and tired due to school getting pretty hectic about now, but the players are really great too.

Also, I've seen the microphone question on some other applications, it seems as if I forgot to put it in the original application. I do have one, but I prefer not to use it.

Where to start?

I've only played 2 matches with you and I already feel like some sort of VIP person on here. Right after playing a match with Balls of Steel (which I dominated in the first part - SUCK IT - and then he dominated me in the second part - yo no comprendo) I got invited to a MvM match with Balls, Nerdy, Obvious, Sexyking and stone. Although Valve servers are acting choppy and we only got the first wave done before we all got dropped from the server, EDIT: Scratch that, we had a lovely match until I had to leave on the last wave due to my dearest family requesting my presence. I love each and every single one of you for accepting me even before I properly finished my application.

So, what else? I look forward to playing the rest of the matches - I've added all of you in this thread and I'll play matches with all of you (please no 2fort anymore *cringe*) even if that means playing more than 5 of those - I simply enjoy playing with you!

I feel like I've wasted enough of your time already so here's the form:

Demos are not necessary, but if you feel like it, why not!

And I share your hatred of 2fort (unlike ALL THE OTHER EU MEMBERS), so if you'd rather play something else (like Spambowl Dustbowl), I will be happy to oblige. I know I've been relatively inactive in TF2 over the past couple of months, that should change later this week :)

I've met a lot of nice people on Lotus servers and it's the sense of community that keeps bringing me back.

Plenty more where that came from. And once you become a recruit it just gets better :)

Hokay, third game is done! Thanks a lot Princess_Possum for venturing into the dusty depths of Dustbowl with me. I've enjoyed the entire game, especially the very beggining where me and Possum went into BLU spawn and destroyed pretty much everything and everyone with an amazing uber. I'm sorry it's taking me a while but I simply can't seem to be online at the same time as most of you are. I've also played another great MvM match with Balls and a few other guys on Mann Up mode today, so thanks for that as well smile.png

The scoreboard will be uploaded as soon as Steam starts being normal for me and lets me online got it on imgur, and the demos are uploading to my Dropbox as we speak, however it might be a while before they show up. I'll update the OP with the links when they're done uploading.

I'm sorry it's taking me a while but I simply can't seem to be online at the same time as most of you are.

It's allowed to take as long as you like :) But if inactive for a month or more without reason then it would be closed and need to be re-opened.

As far as being on while others are we have members in north america and multiple parts of europe. I'm sure if you added members from different regions you will find one online all the time (usually)

'twas fun, especially aforementioned uber. Despite my amazing lag (enough to get booted for high latency at one point). Spiking up to a whole second of ping makes things rather interesting.... Also ProLoser was in the game as well (with a lower ping than me).

This is getting better and better - I've just finished the 4th game with L | Xan who was very friendly and accepted to play a game with me even though he was probably doing something else at the moment. The scenery was 2fort - again - which I chose because hey, everyone likes 2fort. So, one more game and I'm officially done. I've added a bunch of Lotus members and I hope to play the final game this weekend! smile.png The demo will be in the first post with the rest of them once it uploads.

The guys told me this counts so I'm posting it here. I've just finished two MvM games with members bLooDyX, Balls of Steel, Jayserp (second game), recruits Dr.Obvious and Roguepanda and (as far as I know not in Lotus) stoneMcCthulhu. Had I knew this was going to count as game 5, I'd have recorded the demo and took some scoreboard pics, however now you have to trust me and those guys.

I loved every second of it and I'd do 10 more games if I had to. I can already see that we'll all get along very well. bLooDy even gave me two Mann Up tickets, something I have to repay him soon (don't worry, paycheck is just behind the corner wink.png ). I'd also like to thank every single one of you who supported this application. I'll make sure to pop a few dispensers in your name <3

Well, there's not much to it other than that. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have no idea how grateful I am for meeting such wonderful people as you are here. (I really have to man up.)
