I forgot to enable sound recording, so please enjoy the wonderful masterpiece of audio I've included instead. So essentially, I shot this guy while he was running back into spawn to heal. He stopped to look at me, and I shot him. He then immediate calls "AIMBOT!" and proceeds to votekick me for being AFK/Idle. Considering he put a deceptive kick reason that wasn't true in either case, (I obviously wasn't AFK, and how can I aimbot if I'm AFK?) I'm going to go ahead and assume he actually did not suspect I was aimbotting, and was just misusing his Donator abilities because he was butthurt I shot him in the crotch. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Now, I don't have a nice video to back up these claims, but I'll make my case here for what it is worth, check the chat logs I guess. A minute or so before I called the votekick, IceSage claimed I was an Aimbot after a lucky rocket (from my spraying-like-crazy Beggar's Bazooka) and he tried to initiate a votekick/ban AGAINST ME. Now, because he is not a donor, he needs to initiate a vote to initiate the actual vote, which obviously failed. Then, IceSage skillfully fragged me. In the heat of the moment, I thought it would be funny to initiate a votekick against IceSage for Aimbotting me (a playful retaliation of his attempt/outburst), forgetting that my initiating of the said vote is immediate. Lo and behold, both teams voted to kick him (against what I thought would happen, because it was for AFK/idle in response to his accusations). When IceSage rejoined, I said "welcome back". I have fun playing on these servers and have made some good tf2 buddies (hence why I donated in the first place). This is my first 'run in' with the lotus law. I actually thought for awhile that you were aimbotting, and typed "Aimbot?" as the reason. You then explained that it was a lucky shot that you randomly hit me while I was fully cloaked and invisible. Nobody else motioned for a votekick, so I simply left it alone. I genuinely thought something shady was going on and motioned a regular votekick. Even if I had donator privledges, I could have also put up an immediate vote that put "ChildClownOutlet: Aimbotting?" as the reason. That wouldn't have been an abuse of the voting feature at all in that case either, and you're welcome to votekick me with your donator powers again if you actually do think I'm aimbotting. You, however, did not do that. You were butthurt I shot you in the crotch then put an entirely false reason to motion for my kick. If you had put "Aimbot" as the reason this thread probably wouldn't have existed. Also the immediate "AIMBOT" "OH ICESAGE SHOT ME AIMBOT" carried a bit of a sarcastic/butthurt tone. You're free to use your donator abilities however you see fit, just don't abuse it and all will be cool. I wasn't going to mention this because it wasn't relevant at the time, but I wasn't the only victim of this. Earlier in the match you were "warning" other players not to play the game a certain way in a manner suggesting that you would kick them if they didn't follow how you play. In fact, that's why I had a demo recording going in the first place. I don't record every match I'm in. (I also want to point out I have nothing against you, you seem like a mature player. I just simply observed some donator votes flying off the handle and fell victim to one of them, and from frequenting Lotus quite.... frequently, I know that donator abuse is a big no-no and posted it here to be handled, if at all.) My 'warning' is usually along the lines of 'Hey ENGIE, don't build your tele entrance here because spies will get in behind us!' or 'Hey Scout, Don't take the ammo during setup!' ...
