What Forum Features Would You Like?

Recommended Posts

I have been thinking about ways of spicing up the forum and making it more interesting for everyone.

What would you guys like to have on the forums?

Custom Colored Usernames (Would depend on post count) Or atleast some preset ones if the shop mod doesn't want to work.

Bigger avatar sizes per usergroup (again post count dependent)

Custom titles with html, so bold, italic, colored, whatever (post count dependent)

Ability for members to create their own group, would be very good for clans. Say WolfBite makes a group called {DARK} and all the dark members go into that group and have their own special forums that no one sees.

Same for those of you that like to map. A special mapping forum where you could share ideas on maps and maybe even get your maps edited by other people before realease (to make them look better). Someone would then be the leader of all the mappers and would take care of who gets in the group and who doesn't.

Or maybe something else that I have not mentioned? If you have some ideas then tell me and I will see if it is possible. Tell me what you all think :).

If you want a new forum for something you need to show that there is some demand for it. So if you want a War of the Ring forum then you and not only you start making topics relating to it and show that there is enough interest for it.

If you made a delete your post option then you would have to intertangle it with your post count somehow. If you post something and it goes to your post count and then you delete it and it doesn't get uncounted from your post count then you could just keep posting and deleting, posting and deleting, and etc...

A person could have a 1,000 posts without even posting once. If you have it that when you delete a post it gets uncounted from your post count then, that would be alright.

Also, before you post something in the first place you should read it over first and see if you even wanted to post it. If you want to post it click "Add Reply" if you don't want to post it then just click the back button.

Exactly, thats the problem. So for that reason only the Advanced and up can use that function.

The thing is when you delete a post it subtracts it from the TOTAL BOARD post count but not the person post count.... Thats why I do the post recounts once in a while.
