Ban Request - Aimbot Hacker

It was a normal gameplay in the server. In BLU team, with me, there was a guy named LANE who was Sniper, everything was normal. I got killed, when I was specting in respawning time, I was specting him with first person view, and saw how he killed a Scout by headshotting him, but he did it shotting him in a leg. So I switched to spectator and started specting him, he used a switchable aimbot (you can turn it on and off when you suspect someone is specting you), so I couldn't watch something, a few time later he thought I left and switched on his aimbot and start headshotting, so I recorded a demo. I don't know if he left but I wanted to get him banned so he can't do this again, at least on Lotus.

It's not over the top but there are two places that look like aimbot to me. Look at the two kills following tick 4546; 2 soldiers. In both cases he's aiming, his crosshair quickly changes direction to the enemy's head, headshots, then returns to it's previous point before he changed direction. That's aimbot.

I've been watching him for 10 mins and he barely could land an headshot.

Obviously he could have turned it off.

Well I seem to have unintentionally started a fad where everyone declares their own incompetence, but 1). I'm calling BS Sexy!!!; and 2). I wasn't suggesting his hours were indicative of anything, just mildly interesting. =)

Back on track, I've had a look through, and I can't see anything that looks ban-worthy. Even the bit Tristan said about, I don't think that's aimbot. If that dude is hacking, then he should probably get a refund on his hax. Either that or he's using a very outdated version of BrentBot.exe

If he's hacking, he most likely toggles like Sexy mentioned, so it could be likely hes doing the deed, if you na'msayin.

Well, you have watched an... 1 or 2 minutes long video? I've been playing with him almost the entire day, and I'm sure, he's hacking. Just like another player who use hacks (Frothybrew). The one difference is this: Frothybrew has been reported and he appears in SteamRep with his VAC status banned, Lane not.

He always was MVP. 22-35 kills per round, with a LOT of headshots. That's not lag compensation, his ping was 40-50 and he NEVER looked like he was lagging. Anyways... He isn't a fool. If I use haks, and I see connect to the server an admin, I'll turn it off. It's obvious.

As smooth as an aimbot/triggerbot may be, there's most times a slight jump in the aim.

After re-watching the demo for 3 times there's indeed two weird shots (the ones penguin pointed).

Still i would like to watch a bit more because when i was in spec he clearly had turned it off (if he was hacking).

As we can not reach a consensus here and it has been ten days already, I am locking this. Since I'm an admin on the server (and having played with both LANE and Frothy, I can tell that something weird is going on), I will be paying close attention to LANE in the future, and in case even a slightest doubt of hacking comes about, will swing the banhammer due to previous accusations and anecdotal evidence of several Lotus recruits.

Painis, Corvisio, you know where to find me if the guys are ever on again.

Based on previous demos, other administrator's input and Lotus recruit witnesses, I have banned STEAM_0:0:30231521 for aimbot.
