There have been at least a couple people (donors) in the Lotus Clan Dustbowl Texas pissing off several people through trolling and spamming chat. he Miserable Phlogger : 2ez Ninja Tortois3 : raped idiot Ninja Tortois3 : raped idiot Ninja Tortois3 : raped idiot Redsword killed IzDe with tf_projectile_arrow. (crit) Black Mage killed thefawfulfan with backburner. Ninja Tortois3 : raped idiot Ninja Tortois3 : raped idiot Ninja Tortois3 : raped idiot Ninja Tortois3 : raped idiot ^This is nothing compared to all of the spam from tonight... They're just spamming chat with random crap repeatedly for the duration they're in the server. Usually whenever they kill somebody it would be binded once or many times. I should probably just ignore it but it's been getting worse and worse. Should anything be done about this or should we all just ignore it? Like I've said, I know of several people that have been annoyed by this trolling and it's certainly unnecessary in my opinion. Possum 10,776 #2 Posted June 27, 2013 You can try and initiate a votekick/voteban, chances are if its annoying you then its annoying others as well. You can also use the !calladmin command in chat, this will call an admin to the server where they can have a look and take any action they feel necessary. He plays demo on dustbowl and talks himself up haha.... Literally bothers no one other than you and your bff phlog buddy, everyone else thinks its funny... hence why complete strangers voted to kick you for being annoying multiple times as well as your phlog buddy whenever you two started being annoying. Sphagnum Peat Moss 748 #8 Posted June 27, 2013 Well it's pretty retarded, and it does often cause distracting arguments among the people it bothers, and you've been kicked for it before, and your friend WAS warned that he'd be banned and acknowledged it before he went and did it again in front of the same person who warned him, soooooooo... some of you guys are less douchey than others, but I can't really feel sympathy here. Banned L-r | Atrocious (STEAM_0:1:43237184) for 14 days for insulting, abusing donator and spam. Further offenses will be met with higher bans, as long as I am an admin here. This ban has been given from an administrator's point of view. It is not mine to judge who gets or doesn't get to become a Lotus recruit or a donator - that is the power of staff members. As an administrator, I don't really care whether the offending player is a regular player, donator, recruit or a Valve employee - I treat everyone with same level of tolerance and, in the end, it is only just that everyone gets the same punishment for the things they have done. "Raped idiot" is not something I want on the servers, and so don't many other people. "Raped" is a term that offends some people, and "idiot" is a term which insults all people. We can see Atrocious (who has seen this thread, and implied to admit he did this, so it is certainly him, without need for further proof) spamming this term and insulting people. He then initiates a votekick for Conrad because he tried to kick him for spamming (a perfectly legitimate reason, which I would kick for as well, and I think we can all agree that spam is not something that should be tolerated on our servers.) Atrocious has been warned by other admins before. SpagSauce has kicked him for the exact same offense. There has been discussion about this in the Clan Members forum: http://forums.gamingterritory.com/topic/24404-l-r-atrocious (You need to be a Lotus member to see this). I will not go into details about this since it's a private forum, and everyone who needs to see it is able to do so. He has lost support from people who vouched for him. The length of 14 days has been reached by consulting other admins, so the decision is not completely mine. However, I take full responsibility for it. I leave it for staff members to determine what kind of people they want in the clan. This is my final verdict as a global administrator, which comes with support from two other global admins, another admin and a staff member. Either your the age of your shoe size (uk , not european) and you just dont understand how upsetting that word can be for some people. Or you do know what it means and are using it to deliberately upset people.
