Ruby 9,039 #26 Posted September 15, 2013 Oh man yesterday we had some sort of going away party with the guys I was with in Budapest, and since I really don't ever go to parties it was my first time to get to "practice" my skills. So I go in there, my left knee was already killing me because I fell playing football, and I see that like 20 or so people, mostly girls, formed a circle and are jumping and doing partyish things. Okay, I suck it up, man up (and if you know anything about me, that doesn't really happen, like... ever) pray to Mana and jump in the circle, pull a cute chick I met that day in and we start the most random and improvised dance I've had so far, a combination of, I don't know, latin, disco and classical dances from my six months experience, on Psy's Gentleman and a few other popular songs (I think one was Avicii or whatnot) which I really don't listen to ever so I had no idea what the hell was I supposed to do. Next thing I know one of the guys who were supposed to take care of us are recording her and me, the amount of people in the circle watching/cheering doubled, and I couldn't really say whether they're making fun of me or actually enjoying the moves, but the chick seemed to like it so I was like okay, whatever, the girl is enjoying herself, and she obviously has no idea how to dance to anything so I can do whatever the fuck I want and hopefully make it look good. Alright, my left knee is about to explode so I wrap up the song ar about the same time as the DJ did and move out to grab some air/a drink (no alcohol etc.). I come back in, there are PEOPLE LOOKING AT ME AND PATTING ME ON THE BACK AND SHAKING MY HAND AND CONGRATULATING ME AND I AM LIKE WTF I MOVED MY FEET WHAT THE FUCK DID I DO, THE GIRL HUGS ME AND TELLS ME SHE ENJOYED IT AND A FRIEND OF MINE IS GIVING ME THUMBS UP FROM ACROSS THE ROOM and then the chick walks away with another friend of mine 8) tl;dr ego through the roof 1 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
