Pleco 0 #1 Posted October 8, 2013 Although I'm happy they are not permanent ( nice servers normally ) they are, none the less, a PITA. I was votebanned because I was leading my team using the mini-sentry. Banned for "disruptive play". If you don't want me using that sentry I'm sure there's a plugin to disable it. It took at least 3 votes to kick me because someone didn't like my using the class well. Is it possible to prevent spamming a vote? If I survive a vote ban I should be safe for a round or two, you shouldn't be able to start another vote immediately. Thanks. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Donors can call votes immediately, but there is still a cooldown time before they can call another. non- donors have the same cooldown but require multiple other people to also call a vote. minisentries are only disruptive to bad players, so take heart in the fact that your opponents sucked so bad they had to kick you from the game instead of actually besting you. that being said I agree with headshots comment above. fell free to use the !calladmin command next time so we can address those players abusing the system. 7 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

One of my biggest pet peeves is people votebanning others for playing the objective (e.g. capping on hightower) or for playing in a way they don't feel like fighting against (e.g. mini sentries).
