DotA2: "Contract to Kill"

I've just seen the new assassin update in one of Purge's videos. It makes me wonder if we're going to see more sub missions for heros and if that's a good or bad thing. It's good in that it adds another element to the game I suppose but maybe it makes people take more risks just to win the sub mission. You can see the contract at the 1:45 mark in the video if you haven't seen it yet. It looks pretty cool, I just don't play PA....maybe now is the time to learn.

I think in some ways it's a nice idea, as it should encourage teamwork as everyone will be working toward getting PA the kill and getting the items. At the same time though it's not about playing Dota, it's about killing a certain guy. If a teamfight occurs, WD throws in his ult, and the PA of the other team is too busy tryharding for items to focus the WD with the rest of his team, then the game's going to get pretty ugly quickly.

Our thinking last night was that if we just pick no heroes that are on the assassin's list, then it will stop the enemy team working together, we tried that in one game and they all instantly disconnected.

Btw. Caterpillar. You and Goosey suck at supports. Both runes unwarded for 10 minutes? Shame on you. That's like letting your Carry die just try to get a kill on theirs... oh wait, that's what Goosey did...
