Ban Request - AwesomeDudeHere(2), DarkStrike

January 27, 2015 around 6:50PM EST on TF2 (The name of the server is unknown to me, because it is not in my history for some reason, but it was a 24/7 plr_Hightower server)

 

AwesomeDudeHere(2) and DarkStrike were alone on a hightower server, I had joined. I had followed him because i played with him on dustbowl before. him and his friend quickly !votebanned me off of the server for doing nothing but joining. This abuse of voteban is not cool at all, and i dont want anyone else to get banned. no demo, but I left a comment on AwesomeDudeHere(2)'s profile, (the reason I don't have a demo is because I did not think i would get Banned) that can be located here:

As said before, we can't exactly ban without a proof, and i can't see too many entries in the logs over what happened exactly.

So, basically, it's heresay for now. :-/

 

I'll keep an eye on these users for a couple of days.. If i see them online on our servers, and they do the same kind of crap, i can look into it instantly.

Followed up with DarkStrike after playing a game with him.  It was mostly me and him and bots and I fragged him a good few times, I thought he might react to it if I went a bit try hard xD  He didn't though, he jsut said GG.  As Obvious said, more evidence is better...but this is what DarkStrike had to say when I revealed who I was:

And I would like to clarify: we were on a dustbowl server before, He would get REALY mad if we killed him, he was not even being freindly,

so when he quit, i wondered what he would say if i folowed him as a joke, the next time i followed him, i did't even follow him. I joined a RandomHIghtower server with peaple. I recongnised them because of there Avatars. hope this clears things up.

I forgot to add this too my previos post, but i think its importent to clarify: The only things I said were "Umad?" (only once) and "Rekt" (maybe twice) because he got mad when we killed him on dustbowl, (agin, he was not friendly) anything else was just talking to my freinds Hitman_175, and Lumpytusk. No Racisim, Insults, or anything Offensive. and I don't think Taunting after a kill is punishable by ban, (but you already knew that)

Sounds a bit like 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.  I got in touch with DarkStrike as I personally was curious what he would say.  Obviously if I started off with "Have you votebanned people when you shouldn't have" it might make him less willing to talk.  Anyway, Dr Obvious was here first so you can follow his lead.  As I said, I just wanted to hear the other side.

Well, all in all, we have 2 parties blaming each other, and it's claim vs claim with no proof of anything.

 

I'm sorry, but we can't do much based on that. :-/

 

I'll make a note on this incident, if this comes up again.

After a review of the ban request, I have decided to deny it at this time.
