Banned from Hightower

I was playing on a Hightower server and some kids raged and got me banned. I was just playing the game and claimed that they asked me to stop killing them and that I kept going. I got kicked as a result and when I rejoined, about 5 minutes later I was kicked again but it was a permanent ban. Please review and see the reason why I think this ban is crap.

Hey, please start by posting your steamID so we can see how, why and by whom you were banned so that we can then contact the banning admin (if there is any).

[u:1:9096534] - You're not banned by any admin.  Were you playing on a different steam account than the one you're logged in on?  If not, were you votekicked/votebanned?  If so, do you remember which hightower server or the names of any of the players?

 

EDIT: I caught a few people on hightower abusing votes to kick/ban people who cap.  Not sure if they're the same ones you ran into, but I've given each of them a 2-day ban.  If you were votebanned, it only lasts 30 minutes, so you should be able to resume play already.

 

For future reference, try typing !calladmin into chat.  If there is an admin available, they will come help.  Otherwise, try to capture at least the steamID of the abusive players (you can get it from typing "status" in the console), if not also screen shots and demos, and do what you've done here and post it to our forum so we can deal with it when someone is available.
