Anyone interested in Blackwake? (Arena battle pirate ship game)

After seeing this posted online a couple times I think I'm on board to get this game. I'm wondering what other people think about this game. This group has already met their goal and their donation perks are fairly reasonable prices IMO.

 

Now I have never donated to anything on Kickstarter mainly because I have never seen something I find so fascinating that I NEED to donate to help the project along. Plus there are a lot of stories out there about failed projects or people just taking money and totally ignoring their project all together. I'm sure there are more successful projects than failed one but those don't get a lot of attention. So I have always ignored Kickstarter. (or maybe its because I don't have a ton of disposable income at the moment....maybe... )

But that being said I think this game will turn out at least decent with what they have shown so far. They say there will be alpha and beta tests for donators and the game won't be released until late 2016.

 

I just want to kill my teammates by hitting them with a cannonball over the head

Sounds like my kind of thing...I have a few new games though which are all consuming (CSGO and H1Z1) plus I kind of want to get back into Dota2 and the next thing I will buy will probably be Rocket League...if and when I have the time to play it.
