they've gotta hope that their air quality remains in the low digits to prevent any embarrassment during the opening ceremonies.

I really wanted Toronto to get the olympics for 2010... Oh well. I'm sure Toronto will at some point during my life time.

Well a lot of the athletes are planning to wear masks if the air quality remains at the levels it is at right now. It is actually in the dangerous level, even by Chinese standards.

nah, you just get a lot of black boogers.

Chin was good back in the days of Warlords as were the Samurais in Japa. Sadly evil weapons that shoot projectiles put some out of them out of business. In the end... Japa is cool now, Chin on the other hand... Not so much. THEY MAKE STUFF THAT BREAKS EASILY! I WANT MY 1 DOLLAR PRODUCT TO LAST 100+ YEARS! Korean/Japanese Manufacturing FTW (although sadly the prices aren't as good).

Talking of Asia:

Yea, the relay was the hardest, and he got really lucky. France was suppose to win that race.

It was a crazy race too because almost every team beat the world record set in the last Olympic games.

As a competitive swimmer(not much of one though lol), I can tell you why. At those upper levels its a combination of 1 part natural talent, 1 part lots and lots of practice, and 1 part HIDING THE DOPING REALLY WELL!

The reason why they all break records like never before is because of their new revolutionnary swimming suit that they all now use.

Thats like the amputee sprinter who couldn't go in the regular olympics because his prosthetic gave him an 'edge'. You 'd think the lack of a leg would balance out the prosthetics deal...
