Does anyone know if it is possible to somehow force the resolution higher than 1024 x 768 in Battle Realms?

I have a 22" screen with a native resolution of 1680 x 1050 so it's a little frustrating using that low res.

Maybe someone like Kevlahnota will be able to help me. :P

thanks

Dennis you obviously haven't understood my question. And I doubt that if/when you do understand it you will have the answer. I have a radeon HD4870 graphics card which certainly will never yield any restrictions with such an old game.

Battle Realms does not allow resolutions higher than 1024x768, regardless of which gfx card you posess. I am asking if anyone who knows about modding BR can enable higher resolutions.

That cant be possible, I already try that and the menus are hardcoded to a limit res of 1024. Whenever I tried to up the res I always get a crash.

You need to edit the ini file but you can not do Widescreen resolutions.

However for a 22 inch widescreen you can do 1600x1200 and it will display fine.
