I played for quite awhile on the new badwater server, and for some reason my stats weren't recorded. As a matter of fact, my stats say I didn't even play yesterday!

Now, I thought there was a post awhile back that said the first round may not be recorded, and that you when the maps change then your stats are being kept track of.

So I played two rounds, and left the 2nd round near the end of its time limit. Still didn't work. This is particularly frustrating because I had a K:D of over 5:1 with racking up over 200 kills and over 100 head shots. I can't let coda catch up to me!

This also could be a server issue, or I'm just not understanding how the stats work.

haha don't worry. i tend to get the same kd ratio no matter who i'm playing with. and lately there've been even more noobs playing- sooooo my rank is staying 200+

I've got stats recorded from badwater. But I've noticed nothing from arena.

Weird. The stats just popped up for me and showing my all of my 1208 kills with 780 of them headshots

Nothing is EVER lost (I said this many times). It just might take a bit to update. Currently the stats are broken and I am trying to fix them. Once they are... all the logs since when they broke will be processed.

The Arena servers are not currently setup for log processing (but they are making logs). Nothing is lost and you should see the stats appear in a day or two.

EDIT: They have been setup. The processing of existing logs should start in 22 minutes from now (10:38)

May someone please tell me the address to the arena server, it sounds like you guys have one now and would love to play on a good server.

I wouldn't say I'm obsessed, but it gets quite annoying when the rank keeps getting fucked up with all these crazy stats getting added out of nowhere.

I get pissed off when the stats dont keep track and loose your previous record. Why does it happen.

I don't know how many times I said this....

But here:

STATS ARE NEVER LOST. SERVER RECORDS EVERYTHING TO A LOG FILE WHICH THEN GETS PROCESSED EVENTUALLY.

Also, previous activity can be removed whenever stats break to lower the database size. That does not however remove any historical stats just simply does not show the last 5-7 days and only show the last game. NOTHING IS EVER LOST.

I used to care about stats, back when I fought to be in the top 20. Now I don't care nearly as much and if I drop to the 40's oh well. Don't worry about it, if you get a good rank it should be from playing well and winning, not from stat whoring.

Then why haven't mine updated for the past 4 days?

My stats page says the last time I was on was 8/20. I have played on 2fort central everday this past week and a half. Yet the past 4 days of stats are not there.

And it still shows 2fort as dustbowl. I think I have played on your dustbowl server maybe once or twice since I have been playing on your servers (and that was maybe for a total of 30 minutes), yet it shows all my time being spent on dustbowl, lol.

Edit: It also says I played on hydro 12/31/1969...lolwut?

And if you are judging this from the "Player Game Sessions" then I already mentioned that they may or may not update and that they can will be not shown at random. Reset asure... the kills are counted anyway.

I'll run a stats less update later just to make the 5 days show up. Because otherwise people think everything is LOST FOREVER.

lol Well I've sucked pretty bad the past few days, so it wouldn't bother me at all if they did get lost. But when you said they had been updating once an hour for the past 2 days I just thought I would mention it.

And it probably doesn't like me anyway. I really don't remember playing on hydro in 1969

the only thing that pisses me off about stats, is when i play pretty amazing games and my score goes down, and at times i hvae less than average game snd my score skyrockets

There are other people playing on these servers... You can do nothing and your rank might go up or down... Depends on how bad/well others do.
