I would say the winning. Like you said, sometimes it can get boring with dominating. Sometimes I switch teams, but usually they suck it's even less fun to play. O well

Rape-trains are the way we get to know each other, we are able to talk while spawn camping the defense on all 3 stages of the map 2 times each. We do it rarely and its just something that happens. Only 5 out of 5 quit within the 2 hours we were raping so they obviously felt flattered to be beat on by their favorite clan. Not to mention we probably picked up a few regulars along with a few people that will eventually apply. After aplying this game for so long, a good run is at the core of any bond.

It was..fun the first couple of times...but then it got...sad..so I switched over. Somehow they/we got the crap together and started winning..I don't think it was cause I came over..though my ego prefers this explanation.

When people get momentum they have a rape limit, the best players have a high rape limit, while most people have a low rape limit. The lotus clan on average has a slightly higher rape limit ( although mine is significantly higher) than regular people and we were able to keep raping for around 18 rounds. What happens is that after raping so much you lose focus and stamina goes down. What we do is rape weightlifting to improve stamina. We constantly do light rapings instead of multiple hardcore rapings so when we do get hardcore rape it is sustained. After recent discovery people who game have a muscle called the rape muscle. Its a small tendon looking muscle in your mouse hand that grows over time. As further study goes into this muscle the questions we have will be answered. Like how is 1337sp33k related to the size of the muscle. Our theory is that the smaller it is, the more 1337sp33k is spoken. Also, are there other non-gaming ways to increase rape capacity or rape limit? That is yet to be concluded.

so true, and many times ur switched to the losing team and what happens is u give them a chance to use ur winning skills, and those ltl pricks never do what u want them to do and u eventually get raped (no lube prison rape)

I usually go along with the auto switch. Sometimes if it wasn't that bad a win, and the whole point I joined the game was to play with a friend, and then I get switched to the other team, I'll try to switch back every few minutes...but I never do that spec-switch crap...I agree that it's just lame. Its easy to win when you only play on the team that is already winning without you.

So what happens when you decide to accept that autoswitch and try to make your previously sucky team better? Well usually you lose a couple rounds, until the autoswitch gives you 2-3 good players, and then things start to turn around again...oh, and then all the whiners who can't stand to lose spec-switch over and it starts again...sometimes during that time, I'll get a chance to switch to the losing team and once again be with my friends which makes it the winning team again. This back and forth spec switching and ragequitting makes offense on the third level of goldrush freakin impossible about half the time...because even if you start with an awesome team, by the middle of the map, teams are all rebalanced, and no one knows how to work together anymore...then you wind up with like 5 engineers who don't build teleporters and 3 pyros who rush into the sentry filled courtyard over and over.

The all lotus games are my one exception where I'll really try to be on the all lotus team (though I still don't do the spec-switch thing). Usually you find something happening where players start switching to the winning team, and then all the lotus members switch over to the losing team, and suddenly things turn around. I think that's fair game...

I think it would be nice in pub servers if whenever a team dominates too completely, it would just completely scramble the teams. Or maybe if there was some way to make it so that switching to spectator meant that for the next 5 minutes you could not play on either team.
