friedrice 8 #1 Posted March 18, 2009 A few days ago I saw on teamfortress.com the article about how Valve is going to rank servers. Sounds like a decent idea but the bottom line is what's the point. It sounded more like Valve just needs to include more filter tools... Anyway, that's not the point That day I did a search to see if the Lotus servers appear. For some odd reason, most of the lotus servers appear to be almost fully occupied even when there is no one on the server. While there may be no intentional hacks to cause this misrepresentation, Valve would probably assume otherwise. So today I did a search again, and still no lotus servers show up. I'm a little concerned because I first started playing on the Lotus servers by just doing a search. If noobs stop showing up, my rank might go down I'm willing to bet that Lotus servers are actually one of the better ones out there, so it's a little frightening that Valve would delist them. Rydawg 14 #2 Posted March 18, 2009 The servers show people when there is not because of a Mana hack, not Valve. I can never get lotus servers to come up in the search.
friedrice 8 #3 Posted March 18, 2009 The servers show people when there is not because of a Mana hack, not Valve.I can never get lotus servers to come up in the search. I heard it wasn't a Mana hack and that Gabe rigged the servers. But, whose to say
Rydawg 14 #4 Posted March 18, 2009 I heard from Mana that it was a Mana hack to show people on server when there isn't. But who knows Mana could be wrong!
You suck and have no life 203 #5 Posted March 18, 2009 I dont think Mana cares as long as he keeps getting those donations to feed his spending habits. Man, I wish I was smart enough to do that. When I was 17, I worked at McDonald's to save up for college, if only I knew to get people to donate on a video game....
ktspaz 0 #6 Posted March 28, 2009 (edited) Mana is like a drug dealer man, one time my donator ran out on me, Team Fortress 2 became impossible for me to play since I only join servers that other lotus people are on. I couldn't join, so I had to buy donator to play TF2. GENIUS Edited March 28, 2009 by ktspaz
Melissia 7 #7 Posted March 28, 2009 Just join a different server temporarilly and set the other server to "automatically Join when you have a free spot" like I do.
