Question? About "how To Request A Ban"

Just a quick question:

When i am recording a .dem file do i have to be spectating the person to have it record properly?

and either way you should add this to the "how to request a ban" thread so it is clear to anyone else that has wondered about this lol

A demo is a recording of what is happening on your screen. If you are not spectating, then it shows it from your perspective.

The best demos are usually spectating from the first person view of the person you wish to report.

Yeah, and spacebar will change your perspective while spectating. You can review any demos you've recorded ingame easily using the menu available by typing demoui (or demoui2) in the console, so if you've recorded multiple demos use it to find your most incriminating evidence!
