I would like a full explanation on why 53 members have been banned, and evidence behind it. "Someone hacking, or simply disrespecting the server? Please post here with a demo from in-game and a full explanation on what happened and who was there. If you do not have a legitimate explanation the request will be dropped immediately. WinteR 0 #2 Posted May 1, 2009 OK first of all i was not donator so i couldn't stack at that time. AND i wasn't playing this whole weekday cause of intense tests. I would appeal this case because, [team win] and [techno] is a part of lotus. W/o them almost all the players be gone since it's made of lotus players. Anyways these are good people just trying to have fun. I apologize what have occur we just wanted to have fun. We didn't want to do this so we can make lotus hated. Terminator_SRT4 0 #5 Posted May 1, 2009 Just voicing my thoughts. Probably won't get me anywhere though seeing as I already PMed Mana, but I'll say it all again anyway. The only thing that I did was spam chat, annoying and immature...yes, but I highly doubt it ruined anybody's night when they saw me type in "I need your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle" a few times. I NEVER spammed voice-chat over my mic I NEVER initiated a vote to kick/ban anyone for no reason (the screenshot Xiel provided of me initiating a vote to ban him was because every single person on the server was thinking that he was cheating, so that was justified.) So why am I banned? For spamming chat? I won't do it again, I already unbound the keys that I had binded to say stuff, so that's done and I apologize for annoying some people. I haven't played on any other servers other than Lotus servers for more than 6 months, I don't even know if I know how to find anymore servers, nor do I want to. I finally decided to break down and start donating to Lotus as well, and then less than a week later I'm banned for a reason that I'm still unsure of. Is it because I'm a member of Team Win? That means that a couple members ruined it for more than 50 members. If there is definitive proof of specific people harassing/disrupting the server by kicking, banning, muting, harassing, etc etc...then ban them. The only thing I have done is spam chat, and I at least am being honest and admitting it and saying that I'm sorry and won't do it again. I love playing on the lotus servers and I probably won't even play TF2 anymore if I am never able to play on Lotus servers again. So if you're reading this Mana, thanks for reading it and I hope that after the initial annoyance/anger at all of the Team Win members dies down and you unban the people that truly didn't do anything and if they did do something, then they apologize for it and say that they won't do it again. So I will never spam chat again if I am unbanned and if I do spam chat and someone takes a screen shot of it and proves that I spammed chat, then ban me permanently. It should be noted that our clan was OPEN, meaning that anyone could join our Steam group and add our tag to their name. We went along with it until now. That's the thing Nket, there are 50 something people banned when there should have only been two or three people. Someone had to call me up to wake me and then I find out that I've been banned from all Lotus servers for just being in this group. It's a pretty damn shame too. I really enjoy playing on your servers and I'm sure everyone else in Team Win does too. In fact, my favorites list is almost nothing but Lotus and now that I'm banned I have about no where to go. All the other 24/7 payload servers are terrible. So I hope you guys at least consider lifting some of the bans. Most people are innocent from what I can tell. I thought we were cool. :/ I'm really sorry, I never wanted everyone to get banned all I did was provide evidence of a select few being assholes and hoped some disciplinary action would be taken towards them as an example, not everyone.
