Battle Medic

Went nutty on defensive gold rush yesterday. The other medic and I were playing around and using ubers on each other. We were getting steam rolled and I gave up since our engis were building in the wrong place. So we went battle medic. On every run we would easily get 4-5 saw kills and make it back to their spawn. We ended up winning the game. I found a new toy to play with.

I personally dont think double medic uber saw combo is solid game. It doesnt work against a pro team. It only works when the other team is a retard and you are just screwing around. Think about it. Whats going to do more, 2 medics ubering 2 demos out the gate, vs 2 medics out the gate by themselves? Think how many more sentry guns would be taken down.

Uberchain isn't supposed to win games. It's a last resort/I-don't-care-anymore tactic that you can have fun with with a friend. Winning due to it is just a bonus.

Actually I htink "combat medic" is amisnomer. This is not a combat medic, just two people ubering eachother and whacking people around with their ubersaws. Now, if they had something like these weapons, then maybe.

Blutsauger that gives an AoE heal to nearby friendlies (the closer they are to the medic, the more health they get) every time you hit an enemy with it. Does not give health to the medic. Does not crit.

Medigun that drains enemy health into nearby friendlies (the closer they are to the medic, the more health they get) as long as it is trained on the enemy-- reduced range (possibly), no health to the medic (definitely).

Bonesaw that, when it kills an enemy, heals X amount of health to all nearby allies. Reduced damage / rate of fire.

Where can I find instructions for making a demo?

Open the console. If you don't know how, first enable it through Options > Keyboard tab > Advanced > Enable Developer Console. Then press `.

Input the following to start recording under [filename].dem:

record [filename]

When you want to view it again, type in the console:

playdemo [filename]

Or type in "demoui" in the console and load your .dem for easy access.
