Stormalias 1 #1 Posted June 28, 2009 Ive been playing for a while and Im technically still a slow player. (probably cuz Im an offline player) But Im just wondering, how do you rush with Dragon? (my fav clan!!) I think Dragon can start an attack fast because they have fast units like Kabuki, Dragon Warrior, Archers, Chemists and Spearmen. ( Meaning their stamina is good enough to run to the enemy base ) But is there any other way to play a rush with dragon, because these units arent very strong against buildings...So thus the enemy base is still intact and he can somehow withstand my attack. Distraction leads to losing. 2.Build anything that you will need (actually you need all buildings because all of 'em is important) 3.Harvest RICE and WATER 4.Train your idle units into Samurai and Geisha(if you have and if possible, take all HEROES out of the Keep and BUY TECHNIQUES). Anyone?? im not a good player so i cannot speak for myself. but basing on my little experience playing online, dragon rushers usually use archers with fire arrows. Sometimes they are guarded by whirling spears, and 2-3 geishas.. their archers just hit, burn, run......... .....against serpents, some use chemists and kabukis... i think there effective against serps... and if by chance, just see the old forums. I think i hav seen 1 before regarding dragon rush.... ....oooopppss. i dunno know if this will work vs AIs. but vs human players, they do. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Petar 5 #4 Posted January 20, 2010 It is the upgrades that make dragon clan strong... so IMO the only point of rush is to make yang so you must wait for sams with yang balde to start attacking otherwise it is useless... dragon clan have not even 1 unit tier 1 2 that is too good... Let me give you an example VS lotus what will you do ? The only unit vs blade acolyte is samurai.... so if he starts with a forge and a few blade acolytes how will you kill him with a rush ? Ofcourse you may use a combo of BG-s to kill acolytes with lower units, but come now, what kind of a rush it will be of having all your buildings and all types of a BG... Anyone?? waht the other guy said was right. kabuki warrior can own a couple of musketeers, so if he musketrushes, you can counter with like 3 kabukis and hes dead (if he doesnt use sniperability). for swordsmen u can use spearmen or kabukis. for buildings use chemists they also own muskets and damage swordsmen if needed, but don't count on it, theyre weak as shit against swordsmen unguarded. It depends on the skill of the players and on the chance! If a lotus player has a good macro you are kinda fucked up with a dragon... But draogn clan has some deadly BG combos which are not to be underestimated... Kabuki and spearmen make a devastating team combined with sumo kegs... You rush in throwing flash powder weakning the enemy then whirl in the mids of battle and throwing some pierce kegs with the cannoners... you cann kill a whole army in almost an instant not counting the monument.... Yet again dragon is very hard to play agaisnt lotus.... even hit burn and run with dragon warriors doesnt work when the enemy has Koril... About spearmen > blade acolyte -> I havent tested them 1v1 but I think blade acolyte > swordsmen and swordsmen is > spearmen so blade > spearmen... If you mean for the spearmen to use whirl... maybe you must think what buildings you need to do so and what will have when the lotus player rushes with acolytes...
