Oh for Christ sake. I'm getting a little sick of the "I did bad on Stocks #2, make it fair for me." posts. Helooooo it's fricking STOCKS 2!! Most of the donators hangout there! There are more servers that Lotus has! Yes if you go there you have a higher chance of losing than on any other Lotus server! :angry:

However the reason for the nonstacked team losing is two fold. First the stacked team consists of people who are using some teamwork, know how to use their classes effectively, switch to needed classes, Ubercharge to take over choke points, and are also making dirty, possibly racist jokes.

Second, the nonstacked team or "PUG" consists mostly of people who can't tell thier ass from a hole in the ground, think Pyro W+MOUSE1 is the only way to win, think Uberchargeing is the devil, and their class balance is like Phantom on a tightrope.

If the non stacked team used some fricking team work they could win.

most of the people who donate and are on the 'stacked' team arent even very good. the main problem is what you posted about in the original post. "boohoo im losing im gonna spec and sit here until i can get on that other team"

when the teams get really uneven(9v16) theres usually 7 people in spec either raging or trying to team hop

you know why you lose?

cause you have 5 natascha heavies walking around spun up all the time, or hiding in a corner spun up most of the game

cause you have 6 w+m1 pyros that lemming into sentries

cause you have medics who can barely heal one person let alone anyone else

cause you have 4 fail spies who have <1:1 kdr, but they think theyre doing great cause they backstabbed that sniper that was raping him(after 3 failed attempts)

you have 4+ snipers that dont leave spawn, or couldnt hit the ground with a boulder

4+ targe demos that do nothing but pipe randomly

soldiers that do nothing but shoot their feet and blow themselvs up more often than kill someone else

sometimes, some people are just better than you.

It comes down to communication, if you can have a team of not so hot players that talk to each other, they can still win. I don't use my mic much but the times my team was losing I'd come on and speak and give suggestions like "We could use sentry cause the other teams is just blasting threw and spawn camping" or "We could use a tele we aren't getting to the front fast enough to be effective, need a big push." And my goodness! These people must have ears because *GASP* look that bright blue light that comes only from a tele! I see it! Now we're getting to the front, the cart is moving and all is well.

I'm also getting really sick of these threads, so to everyone, either rage quit or suck it up. Either quit or do something useful, like if there aren't any medics just switch for petes sake! You don't have to be Miyari good at medic to be helpful. I'd like to add that videogames are a form of entertainment so if you aren't entertained...sorry why are you here again?

One more thing. Do I look like an idiot charging blindly straight at the enemy? Sure do. Does that usually encourage the team that a big push is what we need, that I can't be the only one charging in? Yes...yes it does. An then the point is captured shortly after.

Don't change stocks 2 from the Lotus stack. I love going up against the stacked team. Seriously, what other server do you know of where just getting out of spawn can be a challenge? Great place to work on spy skills, great place to work on any skills really. It's like a set server where you can choose to go up against some of the best players on the servers that are all working together. The only other way to get that kind of experience is to join a damn league, but then there's all that pressure to perform. I think people just need to recognize what stocks 2 has become.

attn to all the idiots that call for a scramble after they lose like one round: go to hell. just because your team couldn't defend dustbowl 1-2 with 3 spies and 4 snipers doesn't mean the other team is stacking.

but hey, why bother playing better or maybe switching to something that's actually needed (ex. medics) instead of being your team's 5th sniper when you can sit back and bitch about stacking when you inevitably lose.
