Looking For Map Testers

hi i need people for map testing, depending on map i will need between 1-5 people because i have 1v1, 3 player ffa, 2v2, 5 player ffa or 2v3, and a 3v3 map...i tend to make 2v2 and 1v1 maps more often than others, preferably i would like those testing with me to have WOTW because some of the maps are WOTW maps due to the things inside of them.

any help will be appreciated, thanks!

People dont have time to test map I think, so I think you could test it by yourself.

omg....i feel like no one wants me around...i have trouble telling the good and bad parts from each other...and how can lounge be wrong section...fine if i need help from anyone i wont be asking anyone here for it since no one here wants to be nice enough to help, maybe i should ask for my account to be removed since no one hardly pays any attention to me or if they do they just treat me like rubbish off the street..look i may be a map maker, but im not as good as phate or a few others, hence the reason i ask for help testing so i can edit the map and learn for the better next time...

due to the recent rudeness i have been receiving plus the lack of attention i have been getting here, do not expect me to post very much any time soon...

some of the people, i feel, are just about as corrupted in their heart and mind as the Lotus...and just about as treacherous and deceitful as the Serpent...i feel that i am the only one who is worthy of the Dragon's honor and no one else...but i have nothing to worry about, those people will get what is coming to them soon enough (like i say in my head, "What comes around, goes around.")

oh and next time you two ask me for help with anything, i will either decline to help or just plain ignore ur plea...i tire of people not wanting to help me with my issues, good day...

I didn't say anything bad to you before... You should think that people doesn't have any interest in making maps, did you see people playing custom map online? That's the reason I told you that they are not intersted in custom maps.

And you must think that, at least Kabuki and I responsed to your thread. What if no one cares to reply in your thread? I am the first one who give you an advice that in this forums, no one have time to test map. If even Baxter wants to help you, I know he's very busy doing his map.

I want to restate this one "People dont have time to test map I think, so I think you could test it by yourself." I should explain this for you to understand more what I meant.

First, people in the forums, or in gamespy, they dont have any interest in making maps. Do you think when they download it and they play it? It's all logical.

Second, they don't even have that much time to visit this forums, how can they help you with map testing?

Third, If they're interested, they should reply in your thread.

Finally, If me and Kabuki does not help you so you will always decline to our question in the future, that means that you will decline to answer the question to anyone that dont help you? You can tell me more about this because I don't really understand.

I am always trying to be nice to anyone I know, you are the one of them, did I say any bad thing about you?

Knight, try not to take things so seriously, if i test a map i use AI, because as Ben said, people don't have the time, or they just can't be bothered.

Saying this to Knight was extremely rude, Kabuki and you know that. The first sentance was an unnessesary restatement of what Ben said in his first post. Your second sentance stated that the topic was made in the wrong forum IN RED WRITING. The entire post was a piece of ****, you didn't make the effort to write proper English (Like Ben) but you still took the time to make your writing RED and IN CAPITALS to make sure that Knight would know it was in the wrong forum. And so what? Can he fix it? Can he move the topic to a better forum? No.

Well, one can only go so far in testing by themselves. Also, testing maps is no easy matter and the imperfections are very easily overlooked. Knight wants his map to be close to perfect, and that takes a huge amount of testing (I know from my experience in mapmaking), and he doesn't want his map to be one of the pieces of **** ive seen on this site. Other testers see the map from another perspective and provide feedback to the map creator, which helps him make the map even better.

Now, I think Knight overreacted on the next post... Every decent person hates rudeness (including me), and I think rude people should be taught a lesson. However, this isn't a reason to snap at people like that (its pretty rude itself).

And actually, Ben, I think people will play the custom maps if its good enough (unlike some of the junk avaliable for download). I know I would. Not all people have the time to test maps, sure. But there are people that do have the time, and may test it in the best interests of the community. Maybe they could exchange map test favours amongst one another like in the very old days. Pepole that share common goals and beliefs: that is what a community is (thank you geography textbook).

thank u fred for sticking up for me...since no one seems interested as some of u r saying, i mean as well just give up map making since they speak the truth, no one is interested in custom maps nor are they interested in testing them...if anyone wishes to test with me or just wants to stop me from stop making maps, do so within 7 days starting at 6:30 pm EST tonight...meanwhile i will just browse around the forums...see ya all later...

my time as a lone knight is nearing an end...i have three promotion items which can take me one of three paths...the paladin's oath to make me a paladin, the knight crest to make me a general, and a dark blade to make me a dark blader...if the world fills with evil, i will use the dark blade, if the world is balanced i will use the knight crest, if the world is filled with good i will use the paladin's oath...any of those will make my soul immortal...

oh and i believe if someone is bothered enough to reply to the topic, then they can be bothered enough to at least make an attempt to test something...although some people will just come up with some poor excuse or another about y they cant do something...anyway i will be leaving now since i have nothing more to say

o.k. lets get get back on my topic of getting help...i have already tested a couple of maps and edited them thanks to to baxter...also sent him a few other maps to try out but i have yet to get a response from him on it...some of my maps require more players to get a better testing experience...
