Dragonsoul 3 #1 Posted July 23, 2007 Are they really useful? I only use them for Mugging really. The only time I use Glass Sword on them is when I put them on horse. so strat is glass swordmen on horses with geishas follow.
tomonnk 2 #2 Posted July 24, 2007 The mugg make them them so usefull, however, when i play vs. serpent i never see bandit or ronin in his army, so the swords are the only close-to-close combat really played in serpent clan (and spirit warriors when you have necro). {Dark}KaBuKI 2 #3 Posted July 24, 2007 they are really 1 strong unit when upgraded + if you know when to use it. Without it Serpent will never beat lotus.

{DR}Raaistlin 0 #7 Posted August 23, 2007 They are good rush unit. Swordsman and musketeers are very dangerous in the initial stages of game. Later, swordsman are weakness and I replace they for bandits with poison darts...

Thirteen_Orb_Bearer_Teppo 4 #9 Posted August 31, 2007 just for info.......... if your swordman in group........ the damage will increase 50%.......... but swordman mugging is realy anonying me...........
Speedy 11 #10 Posted August 31, 2007 Really? I never knew that. Is it the Swordsman's innate ability?
tomonnk 2 #11 Posted August 31, 2007 no his innate is that the projectiles are much less likely to hit the swordsman when he is running
zimi 0 #12 Posted August 31, 2007 they r usefull if we rush or with mug and to kill geishas and channelers fast.
HolyLaw 0 #13 Posted August 31, 2007 The 50% damage bonus for large groups of swordsmen was indeed a candidate for the swordsman's innate ability but the game creators chose the projectile dodging instead.
