32 Player De-list Bypass File - Linux And Windows!

Recommended Posts

So what you are saying is that you are trying to run a server using steam? "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\***username**\source 2007 dedicated server\bin" Steam automaticaly overwrites some if not all .dll files whenever you start the server making this hack useless.

You need the standalone server from the hldsupdatetool. And I suggest using the plr plugin instead of a fixed server .dll.

Alright where can i find the stand alone server files at? Nevermind found it. Thanks will set this up for a bit.

Doing fresh install. Putting engine.dll and plr.dll in orangebox/bin/ then adding argument +maxplayers 31 for now till TF2 update from vALVE. Is this right?

Yup, pretty much :).

After valve release the update, you will be able to use the file I make with +maxplayers 32.

tried on a *edit*not so*/edit* fresh install w/ only the bypass set to 30 max players and the server still crashed with only 2 players in the game. also, after this the server owner deleted the .vdf file in the addons folder and it seems to still be modifying the player limit "normally."

*edit*even with the .vdf removed it crashed like before (only reason it was removed was to try and "fix" the issue)

haven't tried w/ fresh install yet

How about you become my SMS script? :)

Subscribe to the HLDS mailing list from a gmail account. Setup a filter catching emails from *@valvesoftware.com with a subject of "Update" then have it forward to an email. Just about all cell phone providers have sms / txt emails like for ATT its [email protected] and it sends me a txt.

Oh never knew GMAIL had such forwarding options.. My gmail account is subscribed to the list. Before I used my domain's webmail to catch the updates and forward them to my phone. And then one day... It broke. I don't even know why. (It's all set up... nothing was changed...)

But if Gmail has these kind of options... Well thanks! Never knew :).

EDIT:

Right I have set it up to forward Update Notice to my phone, and changed my phone's notice sound to the loudest settings for messages coming from there. Hopefully now that this is working I can continue getting the file out whiting minutes after the update. Like I did before, up until this update.

That worked real well, got the message about a minute after the email was sent out. Should hopefully be able to continue doing this for the next updates!

Hmm I setup 2 filters both exactly the same except one went to my regular email and the other went to my phone email. I only got the one that was sent to my regular email. FortunatelyI was online and saw it. I am using

Matches: from:(@valvesoftware.com) subject:Update

Do this: Forward to <my cell here>@txt.att.net

I have the following set up:

Matches: Server Update Team Fortress 2

Do this: Forward to *@tmomail.net

Works fine :P

Did you ever try emailing your phone using that att txt email?

Yeah I did and it worked. Got it instantly.

Heads up...theres a server crash bug thats on Valves end and they plan on releasing an update in 1 or 2 hours from now. I am experiencing it also when loading certain plugins in combination with metamod source and sourcemod. So be on the look out for that update.
