32 Player De-list Bypass File - Linux And Windows!

Recommended Posts

May i ask if your using the player limit remover or the other limit removed. I think it was the hexed something?

Thanks! I will try again also. I tryed on all 3 servers, and it did not show any of them. I guess I could have made the first mistake of the year.. : )

Yes I am using the limit remover plugin :).

Hi,

Sorry for my late reply. The Linux patch is working again at my machine.

The strange this is, i had to do the following;

Remove sourcemod,

Boot server without 32player patch,

Install 32player patch,

Boot server,

Shutdown,

Install sourcemod again,

Boot server.

Then it worked. The strange thing is, i had to do the exact same thing on the other server.... Simply updating TF2 and booting the server somehow prevented it from listing.

Exe version 1.0.1.3 (tf)
Exe build: 18:50:46 Dec 28 2007 (3338)

Updated another and used the old engine.dll

It still works with the old one. But for those purists.. I'll see if I can cook it up later today/tomorrow. (It's harder to do when I am not at home and not on my own pc)

Thanks Lord Zymeth. Btw what modifications do you make to the executable? Why not just make a patcher?

Just for reference, the same engine.dll file seems to work with the new Jan 7 update. I've updated my server and restored the modified engine.dll and the server fires up and doesn't complain about being out of date.

Yay!

I just wanted to post that I let steam do its update, then I manually put back in the srcds_run line for the LD_PRELOAD, and everything works great, 32 players, and no delisting.

The change is minimal, however I had a lot of people complain when I said that I will release this. As some guys were selling their crack for 10 bucks with the pretext of making it impossible for valve to know how it's done. Even though I am certain that Valve knows their code and could squash this... Just to cut down the hatemail I encode the engine file so it wouldn't be too easy to see what changes are made.

My server is still delisted with this..

You fail. Clearly you did something wrong, It works for others, me included.

I updated the first post with the January 7th update already, didn't test the old one...

heya,

Our TF2 servers have been running fine on Linux up until the update made last night, now since the update they're crashing 1/2 way through the 1st map with segmentation faults, they both go within a few mins of each other.

I've tried running them as 24 slots with the player remover and the 'NephDLBP.so.1.3' file as I was doing previously and they still crash/freeze with that error in the console.

Any ideas?

Matt

For future reference - Start the server with the environment variable NEPHDLBP_DEBUG=1 if you suspect it of causing a crash. This will print (tons) of debug information that will show if the crash was within the plugin or elsewhere in the server.

I fixed the link, the download works now :D.

Does anyone know how to make a instant respawn timer for dustbowl?

Using Beetlesmod?

There's a new update <_<

On the plus side, I used the "fixed" engine.dll from the Jan 7 update and it seems to work :)

The "re-downloaded" engine.dll was the same filesize as the one from 1/7, but I was too lazy to actually compare checksums... so I think they might not have actually changed the engine.dll.
