The main problem with your servers (namely the 24/7 bad water server) is there are no class limits... or if there are, they're too high.. attacking along side 7-8 spies is a total waste of time... and more often than not, this is what i see on your servers. Then on defence, 7-8 engineers... makes it almost impossible for the attacking team to progress past the first stage... 2ndly, the skill level, from what i've seen playing at various times, there are a large number of low skilled players on your servers, i guess you dont care about this or you would have done something to stop your servers showing up in the "noob join" (as some people call it) where you just click to join a random server... I also presume that your lack of class limits also attracts a lot of noobs/f2pers who have no idea/care about the goals of a PL/CP map and simply want to rack up kills on their scoreboard. As with most "large gaming communities" you probably dont care that i've blacklisted you... so i say this your servers will remain blacklisted until these issues are addressed.. Then you'd complain that you only have 2 medics and both of them sucked. To bad no one else could go medic, the limit is hit. Did you take a screenshot or record a demo? As far as the engies that isn't a problem at all since you have 7-8 spies. F2P does not equal noob. If a player doesn't care about hats or trading then why should they buy the game? Some great players I know are F2P and are fine with it. Also addressing the 'noob' issue everyone has to learn sometime. I doubt the first time you booted up the game you were dominating other people. Same with me. This is the problem with skilled players with 1000+ hours that forget sometimes people need to learn. Not sure why you's say 'I'm leaving forever' then 'No one will care I'm leaving forever'. I mean, if you're making a threat don't immediately go 'But nothing will happen'. It's like robbing a bank, holding a hostage, then telling the police 'I'm to scared to shoot anyone'. Well it would make sense if you were trying for sympathy to go for the 'I'm leaving but you'll never notice me '..... Its a public server, why should there need to be limits at all? Its an option, not a game feature, if it was built in so only certain classes and how many could be selected by default, I'm sure that would have happened. While I can agree about too many snipers, engines, and spies, there's really nothing that can be done. You can have a bunch of morons, then have a 'skilled' player actually need to switch to one of these classes temporarily. Again, if you can't handle it, just switch to spec and wait for the nice explosion or final intel to be capped, or simply leave. I can cook around 10 spies, but this forces me to play a class I don't quite like, Pyro. As for the Engineers, the good old Diamondback with a Spy-Cicle & Enthusiast's Timepiece. If you think that its just noob, then you're pretty much a noob yourself if you can't handle or keep up against these situations and should probably stop playing TF2 all together. This is true, but who cares? Honestly, the only thing outside of this would be rather stuck up and stiff UGC/Highlander/Competitive faggots. (No Offense to those that participate) It is not hard to get the payload moving or capturing points with these people on, you are obviously too low skilled if you come online and complain. Maybe go back and actually finish your Basic Training? There's also a thing called Having Fun, regardless of win or lose, you here to have fun or here to make sure you've destroyed every noob and maggot on the server? If its the latter, you may want to stop visiting public servers and try going competitive...then come back and see how you like it. Oh what, you gonna cry? You gonna cry now? Yeah, I dare ya, rage quit. C'mon, make us both happy. Perhaps you are making a mistake on where and who you play with? Take a look at the screenies, if you aren't having fun at this rate, you're doing it wrong. *Meaning you suck and can't play TF2* If you want to cut yourself off from one of the best public servers out there, that's fine, don't let the door gib you on the way out. With the time you spent making this thread, instead you could have used it well by looking for another server with class limits and other characteristics that suit your likings, amirite? That's the most illogical argument i have ever heard, the fact that you're fighting alongside some people who just want to have fun and you're serious enough to the point where you completely disregard that it's a game and refuse to play anymore is preposterous. It's only a game, if you want to play competitive then by all means you shouldn't be playing here in the first place. Mana 3,867 #16 Posted March 26, 2012 Most new players use the quickplay (Start Playing) feature as they are either unaware of the server browser or too lazy to use it. Quickplay sends players to 24 slot servers almost exclusively. So if you want players who played the game longer you need to use the server browser and look for non-standard settings. Such as: 32 players no crits instant respawn arena tc_hydro etc As those are all excluded from quickplay.
