Updated Servers To Show Points Gained In Realtime

Hi everyone.

Lotus servers should now show points gained when you kill someone or capture the flag or do some other action.

Previously this was disabled on most of our servers as it spammed the chat quite a bit and we already had a bunch of stuff going on there to begin with.

Now it's set to display on the bottom right side as illustrated by this screenshot:

I also attached a poll to this thread to see what you all think about this. And if this should be extended to show points lost as well.

Oh that's cool, now I can make a priority hit list to kick the guy in 1st place off.

Mind if its open to comments and such? If it becomes 'spammy' or annoying, I'm certain people will come on the forums, bitch and moan as they are used to doing.

I think white would be too easy to see which would then be a little distracting. I personally like the points gained in real time, thanks mana :]

Oi, that's one of the bad parts about it.

Maybe give users an option to disable it? That would also please the haters of it.

I don't really care to see the points, but the color is perfect for me to ignore and others to see if they want.

I was told it doesn't count against you versus Bots...then I discovered the Bots have profiles! (I knew Krash was hacking!)

I don't remember. Check to see what that menu says.

In regards to the color. I can not change it. It's set by Valve.

i gotta say im not really one for it, but others seam to like the idea of it - the colour is fine as said by others its non distracting, but for me its only benificial to the stat trackers.

i play for a few hours, rack up a fair amount of deaths and kills, all i care about is playing for fun

bear in mind turn off HUD for a screenshot then nothing appears in it

although you can't have HUD without it etc and cross.

This has been on the france badwater for a while i think i liked it as it keeps a good track of points
