Is Shale Armor Effective?

i mostly use shale armor against every clan i fight. in my personal opinion , shale is very useful. its 30% effective against normal damage and 50% effective against magical damage. in fact, one berserker with shale armor can defeat 3 warlocks with ease. its also good for protection from the dragon's monument charge and the harakiri effect from the samurai. works good too on utara's battle gear. a lotus clan user has very little chance on trying to kill a whole wolf army with shale. the shale armor is really tough, but tougher against magical units. i was lanning with a friend (who is fond of using dragon) one day, when he decided to use the dragon monument on me. i wasn't aware of his scheme during that time so just went on normally training my units. that was when flashing light suddenly started to rain down on my whole wolf army. luckily, my whole army were covered in dense shale. so the outcome was good. only a few of my units had yellow bars. so... is shale armor effective? yes or no?

Yes. Its cheap and lower on the tech tree than the Cairn. Put armour on your Wolf units whenever you can if you don't intend to bless them. Its easpeically effective to defend against magic attacks, so definately use it whenever the enemy is fielding magic units (usually Warlocks). Shaled Berserkers can decimate Warlocks even if they have Soul Chill.

it is effective. wolf clan has high defense to begin with, so with shala armor on, it gives zymeth wrinkles in his face.
