I can understand how this looks from the title and how you would have to question my views, but please just hear me out. I've been playing on the Lotus servers for as long as I can remember. In fact, it's probably the only servers I'm on for a good 80-90% of my time logged into TF2. Through that time I've seen a lot of admins and a lot of admin recruits. I've seen trolls and I've seen people who do things to get themselves on others nerves deliberately. That is not very cool, and I don't take kindly to those people. I don't feel that the admins like them either, and they usually handle those people very calmly and in a manor that makes you want to applaud. This situation today was odd, and it was the last thing I expected from a Lotus admin.

The story is as follows. I'm playing TF2 as normal, capturing the intel in 2 Fort and playing normally when suddenlt while in the sewer portion of the map I see an afk member of our team. 'Maybe he is trading' I thought to myself and kept going. A few minutes later and after a very tense and clutch moment, I run back to see him still there and we both die. Damn, he must be afk. I gave him about a minute longer to react before deciding that enough was enough, I typed in votekick and tried to kick him for being afk. 1 out of 5 it said, and I was going to inform the other members of our team. Suddenly, a random vote comes up saying to kick me, Panty&Stocking. It wasn't that someone did the classic votekick and wait for 5 people. It was an instant poll and I was kicked from the server for no reason.

"What the hell?" I asked myself and my friends on a chat program with me who were also playing at the same time. They said they didn't know. It was just a vote that everyone pressed yes to and kicked me out. Now I'm not the most popular person, meaning not everyone knows who I am, but I am known to the point where people will greet me and know my play style and what not. For me to be kicked so fast was very odd, especially since I didn't do anything wrong. That isn't the end of it though.

I decided to log back into the server right away, back into the team, and I asked "Why was I kicked? That wasn't cool." No one answered and shortly after our team lost and I was autobalanced to the other team. Lucky for me there was an Admin on the other server. Death Strike. Right as I asked why I was kicked for being "Disruptive" He was running his mouth about people that got kicked and muted, followed by laughter. He said there was this one kid who wanted to trade and he got muted so quickly and it was very humorous. I didn't find it too funny, but I didn't interject. Suddenly, he starts cursing and screaming at someone who wanted to trade, telling him to shut the F--- up and to just leave the server. He was being very rude and obnoxious to the point where many other members of the team were telling him to calm down.

He retaliated immediately, and it was him waving his powers around for intimidation that made most of the team scared of him. He didn't let up of course, threatening to kick and ban people from the server for any reason. I told him "Dude just calm down." and right then I was kicked from the server. My friends then informed me that he kicked more people from the team after me, and my friends left shortly there afterwards to play something enjoyable and not get abused my obsessive and abusive children with too much power.

I do not feel he handled any situation there properly at all. From possibly starting the vote to kick me for no reason, to telling stories about how he's kicked and muted others that really should just be kept private since they have no business being talked about. Also, cursing and screaming at someone who was just asking if someone wanted to trade for a weapon he had and at the people who were telling him to relax. His kicking spree also doesn't hold up well.

I'm not asking for much. I strongly feel that his rights as an admin should be removed. I've never encountered such a rude individual, and honestly I don't want to encounter any more. I don't want to play on a server where people like him have power to do what he did. I'm not trying to make any threats, but if this is just ignored or nothing is done, my friends and I will just have to find another server.

As for not reading the readme, I'm actually pretty sorry. I didn't read it but rather I read someone else's post and it wasn't too different from what I was planning to do. That was my bad... I'm sorry.

I personally can't. Unless there is a way for me to pull up a log from the game or something of the sort then I can't. I provided my Steam ID if that will help anybody.

Another quote from you that you'll probably deny.

It was before I was kicked. Someone was telling you to kick them after you had threatened to kick them. You said something along the lines of "I'm going to kick you right now," or "FIne I'll- ..." While I thought you would kick that person, I was kicked instead. before I could hear the rest of it unfold.

I had NOTHING to do with your being kicked or vote kicked. So your calling me out because another kid was spamming when YOU were not even there? Seem you are being a bit judgemental on what you "heard". Even then I didn't mute him the people on the server did. And yess it was funny. being it was a kid trying to spam the server. I still don't get your beef but I really don't care being I did nothing wrong. Show me were I kicked or even started a vote. Oh wait...you can't. No one can..it never happened.

I'm not going to go off on how you push it aside. The whole "Just because I can't prove it then it didn't happen" act. Nope, unless my Steam ID helps prove me right then I can't.

I said you may have been involved in my first kick from the server, not that I knew you were. And what do you mean I wasn't there? I don't feel that I'm being judgmental, you're just very unprofessional as an admin and abuse it in my opinion, and sadly I don't have solid evidence at the moment.

It clearly shows that Death Strike has done no votes against you (or anyone yesterday for that matter).

Also, for the record, if someone is afk 5 minutes during a game trading back and forth I would kick them as well. It isn't a trade server (as said above we have a specific server for that).

Topic locked because there is no more discussion to be had. There is no proof to back up the accusations, in fact there is supporting evidence that he did no such thing.

Oh and one last thing. L | and L-r does not mean admins. It just means that they are members of the Lotus Clan. There are only a handful of users with admin privileges on the lotus servers, and they don't all have L | in their name. Admins are different than donors. A donor can initiate a vote kick instantly (they don't need others to also attempt to start a vote, that 1 in 5 thing you mentioned). It's quite possible you are mad at Death because he had an L and you thought he was the only one who could kick you, when in reality it could have been any of the other 32 players on at the time.
