Ban/temp Ban Req Spam/trolling

Joined West Coast Dustbowl x33 to this guy spamming the rank command. Asked him to stop, he didnt so I tried to start a vote kick against him, sadly he had a group with him to vote against it so I told him if he continued to spam it I would put up a ban req here, thats when he decides to start trolling me for being new and a donor. Another donor Yourself helped him out with his trolling but I'll leave that to another matter. He spammed the rank command some but not to the level snipey did.

Screen caps can be found on my profile. All the ones with skybox and smoke stack show him spamming the chats, one also has his in game steamid from status com highlighted.

Not sure how you guys handle these cases, if you choose to do anything at all, just wasnt in the mood for this shit.

To be honest I was going to just ignore the spam but he decided to just keep pushing me, so that's why i posted this.

Taigos made the votekick, and then let it be. There shouldn't be a reason for the rank-spamer to keep trolling him then. but I think this might be a decision the staff needs to do.

In my opinion, it's not something I'd personally ban a person for - I'd rather mute them from chat and/or disable rank for them if possible

Its the fact that after i asked him nicely to stop spamming that he then decided to continue doing it while trolling me that makes this deserve a look. Am I saying dorp a ban hammer and perma ban him, meh not really but a temp ban to chill him out would be my call IMO, 72 hour or something of the sort. But it comes down to the admins and their view on it.

Stats are buggy as it is, dont need some douche spamming it with commands and breakin it.

I've been in that situation before on the Harvest server (people notice my green username in chat, ask if I'm an admin and then proceed to talk shit about me when I say I'm not and don't stop with it even if I ask them kindly). I agree that a temp ban is in place (if disabling chat for him is not an option, which would, in my opinion, be a preferable and a much more amusing solution), however we should also let him know that such a behavior is not acceptable on Lotus servers considering that type of people only gets pissed off by getting banned.
