New Stats

Hello,

Short version:

The new stats URL Is:

http://stats.lotusclan.com

More servers are being added to it. Later on 32 player and 24 player servers will have separate ranking. Check it out and see if there's any problems.

We are also considering creating a custom stats system to handle us better. We would likely keep the stats data when upgrading though.

As some of you know, we reset stats and switched to hlstatsx:ce to see if it could handle the amount of servers we have. The hope was to have more accurate stats.

Unfortunately hlstatsx:ce is not optimized to handle such amount of servers and despite our attempts to optimize it, there's no way we can use it.

So for the past couple weeks we have been trying out an alternative stats system. This one also required a number of optimizations but currently it is keeping track of stats very accurately.

It is now added to all servers and once servers restart, you should be ranked there. Later on when I we are sure this stats system is performing good, 24 player and 32 player servers will have separate ranking.

A stats reset will not be required, unless it is desired by the community.

The new stats don't seem to be working either. I just got done playing an hour and a half, 400+ in game points and it doesn't look like it registered on the stat page.

Something's wrong, indeed. I won't complain about me being #7 atm, but i only got 1 assist counted, according to "rank". As a medic. xD

On the stats page, the stats didn't change since last monday.

my stats have been working just fine since I went to the new stats page and started using !newrank (new stats) instead of rank (before reset) in the server....

after the statsreset and the 7 days standing still the new stats got implemented? so my question was, will this be a reset or a test or do the points go together, but yesterday evening i was rank 50 of 640 and now newrank doesnt work either?

so just a question? does it make sense to post here and cry that it doesnt work or is it a test and you set it up again after it definitely works. and is there a date for the final version of stats?

I have a bunch of changes to make to the stats. So I took them down for this weekend.

Somehow I still don't even get tracked on the stats page, even after several hours of play... hope things will work soon!

OK I am re-adding the stats back to servers. Starting tomorrow if your stats are not tracking, give me the time and server ip where you played. Including your steam id.

That will allow me to see why this is happening.

Yes... but when I was optimizing things I overdid it. So it wasn't working.

I revert some things and from what I can see now it's working. Though it will take until either server restart or map change for it to start recording stats.

awesome, ya I saw when typing in 'rank' it seemed to be ranking by server. I will keep checking the 'http://stats.lotusclan.com/player_ranking.php' to see if it has updated today and tomorrow. Thanks again

Hey Mana, so when I look at 'http://stats.lotuscl...yer_ranking.php' it seems as if the most recent connection for people is Nov 16-17. When I look at the 'Map Ranking' on said website, it looks as if the regular maps are not connected. Am I missing something here? Sorry, not trying to be a bother....

I'm still seeing what options we have for CS:S. It depends on the CPU usage whether or not we'll have web stats for those 2 servers. Otherwise it will just be ingame.

That should be fixed. Going forward the website should be in sync with the servers.

From what i see here, the whole ranking system is based on K/D. Which is a major pain in the ass for every medic, especially as medic assist don't count towards regular assists.

As proven on 2Fort Uk just now: with 20 kills, as a heavy, i got my K/D to 1.0001. It moved me up the ladder by 2000 steps.

Not sure if it's supposed to work already or not, but my stats aren't updated on webpage when playing on arena server EU. Also looks like the stats have reset if I go by ingame stats.
