Wampa Stompa 40 #26 Posted December 17, 2012 Unacceptable? For people to play with other people they know and "win a lot?" Lulz! I'm sorry, I didn't know some random internet guy's feelings were more important than us playing our games with whomever we want to play with. If there was a server that I couldn't play with my partner on, I wouldn't play on that server. Instead of demanding that other people who have friends split up just to coddle your delicate feelings and let you win more, maybe you should get some friends of your own if you don't like feeling alone. This isn't about my feelings, I'm usually on the stacked team. I'm talking about four or five donators on a team, versus random pubs or non-donating regulars. I've seen it with those fk tags and with lotus tags, and the other players see that too. They complain about the autobalance, sure, but the teamswitching to negate scrambles is just plain maddening for people. Every time it happens like that, I see at least one or two people saying that they're not going to play on lotus servers anymore. Like I said, autobalance protection is fine, but the switch command is kind of stupid. Also, I know this is a radical idea, but I have this theory that playing opposite your friends is still playing with friends.
Se7en 10,762 #27 Posted December 17, 2012 Sacking the teams isn't acceptable, it's required. Joining your friends isn't acceptable, it's required.
Kingz 4 #28 Posted December 23, 2012 I found it funny how people complain about stacking and the "regs" playing on the same team. I have been on both sides, and when I do play on the losing side, unlike other people, I try to be useful, go engie/medic/heavy to help the team.If we are still losing, and I don't feel like losing, what do I usually do? Do I come to the forum to cry and whine? NO. I either take a break for a bit, join the winning team, or play on another lotus server (yes, there are more than 1 lotus servers out there). I found it interesting how people who complain about stacking often play useless class. I WANT TO HAVE FUN, LET ME PLAY DEMOKNIGHT, OMG HOW THE HELL WE KEEP LOSING, #MUSTBETEAMSTACKING. Or sometimes we would have 9 demomen on the losing team, and none of them wanted to be a medic, but all the demomen of course complain about the lack of medic every single round. As for the donators / regulars playing on the same team, well they are they ones who fill up the server every day and pay $5 to play, they deserve something in return in my opinion. So for all the complainers / whiners out there, the next time you play on the losing side, please play something useful, and when someone sticky camp your spawn, yes, they can easily be killed with an uber, and it doesnt take that long to build an uber inside your spawn. Thank you.

Its fun.
Zaythi 157 #30 Posted December 24, 2012 I'll actually agree with Wampa here. I've played with him as a regular enough. He often plays medic fwiw. I know that many of us that played on PL stocks East Coast server play together, but it has little to do with stacking (to MY knowledge). If I get scrambled to another team, I usually just play on that other team and try to kill my friends more! However, there is something to be said about those people who do not see it this way. They stack the teams to play with friends, which I get and understand. But they refuse to do it any other way. If they get autoscrambled differently, they just restack into the exact same thing that auto scramble is meant to provide...a scramble. I would get 1-2 of them together, as a demo/medic or heavy/medic combo is awesome....having 3 of them on 1 team even after scrambles is redic.

Asjo 90 #33 Posted December 30, 2012 I often join the team opposite to my friends because they are winning too easily. An easy victory is no fun, so me going in opposition provides more fun for everyone. Of course, then there's Obvious complaining about me killing him all the time ...
Harlequin 2,975 #34 Posted December 30, 2012 Asjo, you don't give a fuck in wich team you are because you are a fricking suicide pyro. You know you are going to die- the only question is: after each respawn and you march out,... how many poor souls are you burning to hell when doing so ?

Jackle Mackle 148 #37 Posted January 18, 2013 i absolutely love destroying wampa and dave or whomever else that i know...it's way more rewarding of a kill than killing some random baddie
Nano 7,892 #38 Posted January 18, 2013 i absolutely love destroying wampa and dave or whomever else that i know...it's way more rewarding of a kill than killing some random baddie When I first started playing I looked up to those guys (and quite a few others still on my friend list) and I started speccing them and learned so much. For a period of about 3 months Zaythi essentially taught me most of the tricks I know as far as demo and engie are concerned. Most of my pyro knowledge came from Mariposa. Soldier, Mike. Sniper, Taigos and nahelm. I'm much better without assistance today, but it's still more fun to play against talented players like that.
