Rurumie 306 #1 Posted January 17, 2013 (edited) so.. lately i've been annoyed by a beepload of invites from russian groups (i don't speak russian) It's getting more and more annoying, due to the fact that even if i ignore it, it would popup again and keep inviting me. (of what i could see, even people from my friendlist) Most of these groups got games i don't even have (csgo, skyrim, etc.) so.. anyway.. i've decided to make a suggestion regarding group invites, as i'm probably not the only 1 who gets annoyed by it http://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/10/864957182774206430/ <- if you wanna share your opinion or just generally want to support it. My current idea of it, would be to allow us to change a filter, which would only make friends allowed to invite you to groups or generally none. Note : those who invites me, haven't been on for 2-3 months. so mostlikely a damm bot. (sorry for my english <.<) EDIT : to find the post on the steam forums.. go to community by rightclicking your steam client. click on discussion at top. then suggestions / ideas and then the "Disable random group invites" post, which i've posted.
