It would be nice for there to be admins on Lotus servers or at least readily available. But with such a low number of admins let alone the lower numbers on at any given time it is near impossible for hackers or trolls to be stopped. For instance we right now there is a two man team just passing the intel back and forth to spam the server. Taking a demo, uploading it etc etc took to long to get in the hand of some one who may have done something about it. In which case the server cleared.... I know I keep saying this and saying thins but nothing is being done.

We may not have 3 admins per server, or admins that are active 24/7, but a good amount of recruits and members help out the admins, members and staff, with server problems. What exactly hasn't changed in 3 months? No increase in admins? Admins aren't the only people here that have some power to do something. I'm the lowest rank, a recruit, with no admin powers whatsoever, and I've helped out the community with multiple problems. There is always going to be asses on the servers who spam intel, or the mic, or hack, or cheat. You can't expect us to know every jerk that plays on our servers and be ready to kick or ban them. If there is a problem, tell anyone. I'm sure anyone in Lotus (recruits/members/staff/Mana) will try to help, and if not, we will bring it to someone's attention that CAN help you. We ARE stopping trolls, and hackers, and spammers, just apparently not at the crazy frequency you desire. Imagine if there weren't any admins or help from the community at all, then ask yourself if you would like that, or how it is now better.

If you really want something done fast, just record a demo or take a few screenshots of someone being a douche, post it, and bask in the glory that you, not an admin, helped make Lotus better.

I do, yet the server itself dies still, and with friends we populate it again. I am just voicing what allot wont take the time to. As always this is not an attack AT you all, just kinda a ""Hey guys look."" Time notion. And no things have not gotten better in three months.

The thing with screen caps, demos, etc is this. It still takes far to long to do. Other clans etc, smaller and larger than lotus have at least a Team speak where some one is on, and you can transfer files right then and there. ((demos, etc))

That would be a quick and cheap big step in the right direction.

In any event I will be talking to Manna this week to help get some Ideas who got some of the other bigger communities up and going ((eg. eGO, Skial,))

Yall are a great group of folks, learn to not attack an outsider for their ideas to help continue what you have rather listen and try something new off of the ideas.

Since no one here has decided to point it out, but instead troll like fucking morons, (Although I agree with some of it...) I'll reply in big words, for the TL:hur:DuR:

Admins have LIVES. WE ARE NOT ON 24/7, WE DON'T GET PAYED FOR WHAT WE DO.

We can't respond to issues that we DON'T KNOW ABOUT. If you like the servers here, you'll want to contribute and 'give back', by taking a few minutes to complete the necessary ban requests and formats. It's annoying but given you applied for Admin-ship, if you really want the ease of removing people easily, show your worth by giving time to get assholes removed from the servers you love and enjoy at.

Coming on here and 'dissing' the L(oser)'s for this kind of crap is a WASTE of time, time better spent making them reports so Admins can track investigate and track these so called 'hackers'. What you're asking is an easier way to submit bans, that's actually the wrong thing to do and I frown upon admins who accept voice *and demos* in private like that. Let's say the demo's wrong. Where's the Ban Request/Notice that this user had broken a rule? If it's not properly recorded, it didn't happen.

If you wanna BAIL, then do so without giving others shit...it ain't right, it's uncalled for, and disrespectful. If you want to be lazy like that *Cheap and easy*, then fine. Auf Wiedersehen. You obviously don't know how administrating and making big decisions like banning works or how much of an impact it does.

We've tripled the number of admins on the servers since December and we have are increasing the number by another 42%, probably in the next week or two. The servers are not overrun with hackers. The changes are a result of us being proactive and will continue until we reach the right balance of players/servers/admins.

We are already looking at other avenues of making admins easier to get a hold of. Some of the current ideas being thrown around include a !calladmin plugin, voice chat, and steam group chatroom.

The servers with a track record of more hackers have multiple admins.

steam group chatroom would be more benefital tbh.. whenever an admin is free, make them farm hours in there (if only there was a counter xD)
