... my name isn't anywhere on this site, my sprays don't work (and they're not vulgar or disruptive in any way)... so what gives lotusclan? I don't want to be a jerk, but if you take my money, I would at least think you'd have the courtesy to advise me of changes to severs (like sprays no longer work).

Yer a member? Do you mean you're a donator? Cuz that doesn't mean you're "in" lotus, just contributing to keep the servers running, and have some cool abilities. As for the sprays, pro, cheeze, It was my understanding that sprays were disabled on certain servers do to the vulgarness of SOME peoples sprays. If sprays are enabled again, I can only see my friends sprays...sometimes If you need sprays to enjoy the game, yer doing it wrong

Yeah, yeah. There is the lotus gaming community, with recruitment, memberships, staff, and whatnot. There are also our awesome dedicated players and donors. I try my best to be all of these, but it gets pretty tough.
As for the sprays, Im unable to see them on occasion, as well. Was wondering about this myself...

Anyways, thanks for the message. It may be a server specific thing, but I've never bothered to investigate

Sprays shouldn't work. If you see your own spray chances are other people do not see your spray. This change was made years ago to combat the file upload exploit which allowed the server to be compromised and even upload viruses to the players. The server won't store any files sent by the game client. I don't see any reason to change this as the exploit was never completely fixed only made harder to do. So ignoring all files from clients is a great solution.

Valve's new games will not support sprays either (CS:GO).

In regards to being a member of Lotus Clan. You are not a clan member and as such not listed in the roster. If you are referring to the Lotus Clan public steam group then you are listed there providing you yourself joined it.
