How Long Am I Banned For?

I got banned for one of 2 reasons:

A) Because I'm black.

Admin Impersonation.

Personally I think it's the former, but I digress. It's been a few days now, and there's only so much Rome II I can play before I rage quit. I was wondering how long I was banned for; it doesn't say anywhere, and it was so funny at the time that I forgot to get any friends to check. My steamid's STEAM_0:1:25685637, and I'd appreciate an ETA of when I can expect to rage at mini-sentries again.

The ban was put in place by ProLoser, who is actually a Lotus staff member. He set it to permanent, so you must have done something pretty stupid... you will need to plead your case to him for an unban... might as well wait for his input here, because nobody else is gonna be able to do anything for you.

Looking at your chat feed and your recent player names, i can take a guess why you got banned, but as said, Pro has the final word here.

I've got the demo and screenies at home, but there is enough info on stats that i can justify from those my thought process now.

Spoiler alert: there will be no unban at this time.

You were impersonating an admin. chat logs show this clearly. this was right after I was explaining to someone that people with colored names were donors, but that I was admin. you then changed your name to the same as someone else's (your friend ze) to try and confuse me before saying "I am an admin". another of your group also changed their name to ze with what I can only assume was a coordinated mumble effort to fuck with the admin.

After I banned you for a week, you immediately attempted to rejoin under the name "nigga you know I'm an admin". This is when I made it permanent.

This last act showcases your lack of remorse and that it was intentional on your part. As such, if I unbanned you I have no reason to think the behavior wouldn't continue. I'll also throw in that I was called to the server because you and your friends were griefing other players but I don't have the demo clearly showing that and since deliberate admin impersonation is the more serious matter that is what I put the ban for.

You must've been in spec for a while because I didn't see you. All I saw was this other guy going on about "admin abuse," and as far as I'm concerned that's like bitching about unicrons; admins might as well be just as rare. I think an admin showed up earlier because someone called one, but I was pretty sure he'd left almost immediately. I assumed the guy's incessant complaints about admins were aimed at those with donor status, as per usual. I said I was an admin after rhiyOnce's comments to get a little antagonistic with the butthead, because they go on about team-stacking, or hacking, or whatever else they want to complain about. If this was a few weeks ago, I'd just give votekick em with a silly reason like "Votekick Random_Baddy_420 Nigga, ain't no admins on Lotus." I was trying to reform my ways after a few of my friends got week bans for donor abuse. I want to chill out after stressful days and play with my friends, but it seems like every F2P has something to bitch about instead of actually trying to play the game. "We have no meds, 3 engies, 3 spies, and 2 snipers? I'd better just got spy and try to scramble the teams." And when they can't get one or 2 of my friends on their team, it's the usual "pay2stack donor turbonerd fagits 420 i fuked your mom yolo."

I don't even know what we were doing that was considered griefing, but I didn't get a pm about that or anything either. What the fuck is griefing in this context anyway?

That's what I saw.

Then I saw you write my steamid in chat when I was dead, checked spec, and then I said in skype "Uh oh, here comes the banhammer," and so it came. Naturally, I was laughing my ass off in skype at the ban that, from my perspective, came from left field with no warning. I rejoined with that name because it was a pretty bogus ban considering I'd been donating for 9 months and have been bitching about the Lotus reg since before the screenshot system was added.

I don't know when you joined, but we were dickin' around with dat percent signs since last week. It wasn't some poorly thought out attempt at admin subversion. I didn't feel remorse because I had no idea what I did to get banned in ther first place; from my perspective it was just from writing "I am an admin."

We all had our names set to Airball first, then we switched to ze; it wasn't to avoid a voteban either since all three of us were immune to voteban except by other donors.

It doesn't really matter to me if I get unbanned, but could you give a little warning before the ban next time? Also, Is gravetalk enabled for admins? I ask that because I honestly didn't know there was an admin there, and if i can only see your chat when I'm dead, then I'm never gonna know there's an admin present until it's too late.
