D-Bee 3,448 #280 Posted November 10, 2014 I'll go for Point Blank Shot So +1 within 30 feet  So I can still do a rapid shot + point blank? Or is it one at a time? I can either shoot twice or shoot once point blank? The Point Blank feat just gives you a bonus within 30ft or "close range". That bonus always applies, so you can use it with Rapid Shot. I'm a little surprised that you didn't choose Weapon Specialization which gives you a +1 no matter what the range.

Jesusfreak 312 #285 Posted November 17, 2014 (edited) We did ok without our Tank. Â Here's the story. Â After the attack on the villages which our adventures defended well (except for Oskar because the dice said F you!) they wondered how far they were to the orc camp. Eala said they should sneak to the camp to see how many they were, and decide if they wanted to make a counter-attack or evacuate the villagers. Tal in the other hand were too intoxiced after all the ale and wine he had drunk after the victory in the village, and would only cause problems if they took him with them. So he had to stay and rest out. As they arrived the camp they started to move silently to prevent making too much noise as the amount of orcs clearly were bigger than expected, even though the adventures killed a good amount in the villages. Â Sadly the idea of sneaking and being silent as a church mouse wasn't a thing for Steelbeard Hammerfist as he screamed and yelled, "THEY WILL PROPERLY NOT SEE US FROM HERE! BEHIND THE BUSHES!" which of course bought the orcs attention and started to move closer and closer. Oskar facepalmed and remained hidden as Steelbeard charged against the first small group of orcs. Lin Fletcher, their trustworthy Ranger, took the first shot and killed one of the orcs. Eala started to move behind the group in an attempt to sneak up behind the enemies and do some serious damage. Oskar saw everyone was ready for combat and were already exposed thanks for Steelbeard so he had no other option than to help Steelbeard out since he brought him back to life at the village, and to show he was a bloody worthy dwarf. The fight went on and for the first time Oskar manage to make some good hits on the enemies slashing his waraxe at the orcs. Lin kept firing her bow as the bodies of dead orcs fell in front of her. Eala in the other hand kept flippedy floppedy with the butcher knifes of daggers, and didn't hit a single target from behind. She were busted in her act and the orcs began to charge her. As Oskar started to see more and more orcs started to approach him and steelbeard he readied his shield for some serious swings, however the orcs attacks penetrated his defences leaving him serious wounded and only had the option to flee from combat, leaving Steelbeard from behind. Eala took the opportunity as well and ran back to Lin who, opposite Oskar and Eala continued her counting her kills. As they cheered Lin in her expertise of shooting arrows at the evil things, Steelbeard was getting surrounded by the orcs, he fought well but got wounded in combat. Lin saw his need of help and took the shot, killing two orcs near him. "about time" Steelbeard properly thought has he continued his fight. Oskar and Eala cheered Lin for her expertises, but the celebration was interrupted as they saw the a well badass orc with a bigass sword. It was the final boss! Â Â Who were targeting Hammerfist, Lin didn't had a clear shot at the orc chief as she might risk of shooting Hammerfist in his butt. She instead took the archers who surrounded her. Oskar tried to hide behind the bushes in an attempt to surprise the archer. however his armor was too noise which bought the orc to attention and fired a shot at him, however the arrow didn't made it far from the bushes which gave Oskar the chance to charge up to him. He swung his axe at the neck which made the orc's head separate from its body (my first crit) At the time the last archer orc fell on the ground the war chief saw he couldn't win the fight and started to flee. And Oskar was still being called a bad dwarf by Hammerfist. Â Â Sidenote: DB, the combat expertise says I trade my base attack bonus (up to 5) to my Armor class. I might think it was -2 on my attack-roll and a +2 AC, instead of +2 on Attack-roll and +2 AC. It should be a trade-off (when something increase, something else will decrease) and not a trade-up (when something increase, something else will increase as well) otherwise the combat expertise would be a OP feat. to have. Â Yeah, I wasn't confused about that. I tried to explain this to you Jesus, that's it's basically an improved version of fighting defensively (which anyone can do). Admittedly, Skaila (and learn to say her name, ffs) took out a few from far away, but i still call win on this. Including the Orc boss that totally ran away from me. *coughs*

It is not Skalia, it's SKAILA. Â That aside, she was the only one with lucky rolls in our team, have to admit that. At least the orcs were mostly having bad rolls, too, or this would've been a bad bad massacre.
