extracrispy 5 #1 Posted September 6, 2014 Hello, I'm new to your forum but definitely not new to your servers. Going to keep this short and to the point. On the fast respawn servers, blue and red spawn timers are the exact same. It makes it impossible to capture the last point. The problem with this is evident as blue has a distance to travel where as red spawns at the fight. Would you guys consider adding a short time to red respawn timers? Some people like to just frag all day so they love the fast respawn. All i'm asking for is a small time added.. the default time on last respawn is like 18-20 seconds. if you make it say 5-8 seconds thats still incredibly fast. Also i pretty much only pub badwater, and i like the fast respawn, its just the last point thats frustrating. (not to mention its pretty much the only lotus badwater thats fairly consistently populated.) Maybe a silly suggestion, but engineers can build tele close to the last cap point? Couple of sentries, build an engie nest >> But honestly, it's the first I've heard of it so far. think about the distance the engineer has to travel to build everything and the amount of time that takes. thats probably 2 minutes in an 8 minute last. also say 2 people are engineer. you lose a 1/6 of your pushing power since they sit and build and protect their stuff. and thats if theyre able to keep it alive versus spies, ubers, spam and other things. then you factor in the people who really have no idea whats going on and thats another say (if youre lucky) 1/6 of your pushing power. most people that play in the fast respawn servers dont post here. and most people that are experienced enough to know that red on the server has every meta advantage, will find another server. i'm putting out this suggestion because i care and want to improve the experience for everyone. As of right now, its just frustrating to push last because for blue you do not have a single advantage. unless you get lucky in the server and have not only a medic, but 2 of them, and that theyre healing someone who knows how to use an uber or kritz. and lets be real, that is very rare.
