I've gone with these teams to get an invite: EG, VG, IG, Malaysia, Secret, Cloud9, Na-Vi, Rave, NiP, Newbee

Secret vs EG in the Grand Finals, Secret take it 3-2 (Is it Bo5 again or Bo7?) in a last second base race with the other Ancient at less than 5% health

I dont wanna hear about it... if secret don't reach the finals, i'm never watching pro dota again xD

 

Also, if navi or newbee gets an invite ill give you a rare item, because there is no way...

 

I got: Secret, VG, EG, IG as the no brainers.

I think Malaysia, C9 and LGD deserve an invite as well

And my last and less sure ones are NIP, Alliance, Empire... ill take a look at it tomorrow if i wanna swap any of the last three...

 

concerning the tournament itself: we will have to see how this patch develops, but if OD, Tinker, DK and Naga are as strong as they seem, i think both secret and EG have the player (RTZ and sumail) to profit from that the most and reach the finals. If invoker turns out to be the new sniper, keep an eye out for IG (Ferrari430) and VG (Super).... 

 

Besides that I do think that if this truly is the jungler/ganker patch its very important to have a strong chen/enchantress player like puppy or artstyle.

 

And now that i checked dotabuff: Iceiceice undying and Kuroky Ursa

Yeah I picked Newbee and Na-Vi because they were last years champions and they're popular.  Plus they have won something at least (Newbee: World Cyber Arena 2014, Na-Vi: Dota 2 Champions League Season 4), although not maybe as prolific as they have been in the past I think there status may, and I say *may*, see them get put through.

Although it would be the first time that the defending champion would not be invited, i think its very unlikely that newbee gets invited... they simply have no player that really shines anymore like xiao8 or hao, and as a collective they have been very disappointing...

 

Concerning Na'vi: although their fanbase is massive and dendi is probably the most admired CIS dota player, I don't think they will get an invite because, despite the addition of art style and funnik, they simply don't deliver

He thinks that newbee will get an invite and he compares it too alliance last year, but he doesn't take into account that newbee lost its 2 main stars while alliance line up stayed the same between TI3 and TI4, and alliance had better results too.
