Sinophile 41 #26 Posted May 1, 2006 This is the sytle I play, can somebody help me with a strategy to beat early game brawlers? -I rarely play over 30 mins -I always use range, like Leaf Disciple, Musketeer. -I never use wolf, and only rarely use Dragon -My style is to 'try' to hit and run early game, to disrupt enemies plans -I always play the map 'Freedom' So, now that I have laid down the conditions, there should be plenty of friendly people coming to help me
IndominusRex 13 #27 Posted May 1, 2006 (edited) Oh, you can kill them easily if you have a good micro.. You need to kill units first before buildings. You must practice to build in a shortcut way... Try to practice build shortcut by calling a peasant and pressing the key Control + Shift + (A letter for a building) Make sure you have enought rice and water Here are some examples of building: Dragon: Peasant Hut: P Dojo: D Target Range: R Alchemist Hut: A Bath House: B Fireworks Academy: F Shrine: N Stable: S Well: L Keep: R Townsquare: T Watch Tower: W Dragon's Monument: M Serpent: Peasant Hut: P Tavern: R Sharpshooter's Guild: G Alchemist Hut: A Bath House: B Thieve's Guild: V Metal Shop: M Well: L Keep: K Necromanzer's Throne: N Townsquare: T Watch Tower: Stable: S Lotus: Peasant Hut: P Forge: F Blade Garden: B Training Yard: Y Crypt of Brothers: C Avary: A Well: L Master warlock's Tower: M Keep: K Townsquare: T Watch Tower: W Stable: S Wolf: Peasant Hut: P Combat Pit: C Ballistics' Ground: B Quarry: Q Wolf's Den: S Keep: K Well: L Ok I have to go bye! IMPROVE YOUR MICRO: (Copied from Serpent against Lotus guide) To improve your micro, you must play actively and fast... For example, you have 4 musketeers and your opponent is 4 staff adepts, of course you will lose when you don't control your unit. Example of good Micro. Assuming there were 4 Musketeers which are Musketeer A, Musketeer B, Musketeer C, and Musketeer D. 4 Staffs which are Staff A, Staff B, Staff C, and Staff D. Your 4 Musketeers are standing, but then, 4 staffs run to your 4 Musketeers and attack musketeer A, all you need to do is run all your muskeeters far from the staffs and Press N. (So they will be ready to attack their range attack) Check your musketeer's life. Which are Yellow? Which are Green? The Yellow should be at the back of the Green one. They attack your musketeer A and it has a yellow heal, it must stand at the back of the 3 musketeer (Do not forget to press N everytime you want them to stop at a certain place). While 4 Staff running to you, your musketeer shoots them, so one of their staff has a yellow life. When they attack one of your musketeer, run it! Run it all if your musketeer are so close together! Remember to let your musketeer far apart so when you run one of them, they wont attack the relative one. Remember to shoot the lowest life first! Shoot one at a time.. Run almost red life musketeer far away and press N when you think that staff can't see you musketeer. Or Run all when you think you can't do it.. REMEMBER! EVERY UNITS ARE SO PRECIOUS!!! DO NOT LET IT DIE!!! ALWAYS HOLD ALT TO RUN YOUR UNIT, NOT DOUBLE CLICK! Edited May 1, 2006 by BenEducationNotice
