I said about the trade up thing a while back, but the fact you cant use items from bags is kinda disappointing

EDIT: Also apprently BR spawns have been changed to be lower, so you cant strafe as far from your "starting point"

EDIT2: Theres a hospital now south of Guvs mansion might make it a bit more of a crowded place

Yeah, you spawn lower and travel faster, a lot faster when dropping in.  Sneakers now allow you to sprint very fast.  They're never gonna allow you to trade up something which is given away by the dozen every hour or so.

There are still a few problems though.  At certain distances, and not that far away I'm talking about maybe 100 metres, you can *edit* sometimes *end* see player models when they should be covered by bushes and undergrowth.  A lot of people seem to be killing each other.  I've played a couple of games today and already seen three people kill each other, that might be a coincidence though.

The queue timer isn't accurate now at all.  I was told 10 minutes earlier and I was in game within 1 minute.  They've said the BR queues should come down, but after a patch there is always a rush so the queue timings at the moment are a bit random.

I'm still checking the strafing and how far you can travel.  Maybe the speed makes up for the lower height?

Not seen an ATV yet.

The only issue i see with new spawns is playing in 5 mans, will be much harder to get somewhere and stay together.

apprently aswel kevlar works properly so it will take alot more shots to the chest to kill now

Apparently armour also degrades a lot more now.

 

Just got my hands on an ATV.  It's nuts quick but easy to stack or ping off something, but you can right it it would seem relatively easily.  It's not so good at climbing mountains as it slows to a crawl and seems to burn through fuel like no ones business.  Fun addition though.

Oh and of course there is this place...

 

I found it on the way to Governers and had a run around it.  Nothing appears to spawn there yet but its huge.

 

I initially spawned on the just southern side of the mountains so I wanted to see how far to Governers I could get.  I found a jeep behind PV storage where I landed and got in that and got to the new hospital (see above) and ran around that for a few minutes, then to Governers, looted and was on my way out when the gas started coming.  I was surprised I could get all of that done to be honest.  I expected the gas to hit me before I had finished looting.

I think the difference now with the spawn is that if you want to strafe and cover a large distance then you need to immediately turn and be strafing more even than before.  Any turning the wrong way and you can't get anywhere near as far.

*update* queues seem to be back to normal now (10pm)

hah...yeah I noticed when picking things up near it I would sometimes jump on.  They did say something like "first use and fine tuning" though so I guess it will get sorted eventually.

It was probably the funniest thing I've ever seen in a video game...literally jumped out of the speeding car with his AK blazing and went over the side rail on the bridge and fell to his death....followed shortly after by "dayummm"

Just had a game of h1....saw guy on ridge looking through binos stood next to a parked quad so decided to surprise him....jump over him and quad in my truck and jump out....when we jumped over them the truck clipped the quad and when I land outside the truck the now rolling quad runs me over and kills me
