Yes I did ban you in the midst of many other people attempting the new/old glitch of triggering the last cap on the payload map. The ban length is only for 24 hours and expires tomorrow at 8:01 am EST. I did spend my time on that server saying, "Those that try the glitch will be banned". I would suggest waiting this one out as I actually meant to ban for one week but hit the wrong button. So in that sense you got lucky.

i never helped someone do the payload glitch i was scout for the whole game, as far as my knowledge goes you have to be pyro to even attempt it

I believe I saw you suicide for the pyro standing next to the last point so he could grab your gun to use in the glitch. Luckily I banned him as well before he could grab it. Nonetheless your ban will expire in 8 and a half hours. I am standing by my decision. It is up to staff if they wish to reverse it.

so what your saying is that if anyone that suicides near a pyro as a scout can be banned for attempted helping? i dont have the suicide thing enabled either

Well I went out and when I came back the ban was already expired.

What he's saying is, that if a player suicides on the last point so an other player can use the weapon to do the exploit, the admin can ban the player for helping.

Now, I can't tell whether you did actually help to do the exploit or not. If you didn't, I apologize for the inconvenience and hope you can understand, that because of how fast this exploit can be done and the huge impact it has on the game, admins tend to ban suspicious players early before they manage to do the exploit. You might have looked like you were attempting to do the exploit to Mr. Dongles, so he banned you, even though you didn't actually try to do it. I don't know.

Either way, you're ban expired and I hope you can enjoy the servers again.
