If you knew what clan you were going to be then it wouldn't be random, it would be like poker, you know what you have but no else does. If you know what clan you want to be then just pick it and let everyone see. You said you would scout so if they really choose random then you can find out what they are. Not a big deal as you said. But it definetly wasn't put in there on purpose. Have you seen any other games like that, where when you pick random you know what you are going to be before you even start to play?
