Oops, I voted for the wrong one, I would really choose wolf not dragon. Dragon is probably the best clan vs serpent. I think serpent is most useful vs wolf though.

i say you all r very confident with your vote. But i choose none because if you look at what serpent can do is so little compared to other clans. I see it as the weakest clan; it might be good for rushing though. But in late game, it just sucks. So none is the answer.

I disagree with you on saying that serpent is no good in longer games. Think about, in a longer game you can get a keep and a necro and they are very useful in killing lotus. Vetkin can drain stamina and you will have lots of other units to back you up.

omg serpent is very good in long games....... just that all u people just do smoke...... there r other things u can do to beat every clan.... serpent is a miracle worker......... best clan if u know how to use them... but thats my opinion

I agree diablo, serpent is the best clan, cpslayer no offense but u dont no scratch about serpent, it is versistal and can counter EVERYTHING in EVERY Situation if use correctly, i would say there is not a situation that a serpent cannot beat due to its balance and fast killing

It is true that Vetkin can use up stamina in longer games, forcing Lotus BGs out of existence, but think about it: Unclean Ones will always be weak in melee, so in a long game, the Lotus will keep their Uncleans in the back for protection. Diseased in long games wil counter Vetkin and horses with Death Wail. Infested's AOE attacks will eventually stack against the enemy, and Spreading Goo will in particular will reduce Vetkin's and swordsmen's speed. Leafs will be our scouts, readying us for any battle, and in longer battles, we can use our Master Warlocks more effectively. Soul Thresher will drastically reduce Necro's health if it is Blood Bonded by ronins, because of their weak magic res. Unlife will make sure Necro won't have any corpses to use, and Dark Portal will teleport Masters to disrupt enemy musketeers, crossbowmen and cannoneers. cptheslayer, you know only the surface of Lotus strategies.

P.S. Warlocks have fire attacks too, and in fact, it does more damage than the average fire arrow, pitch or sling.

Darky, take a look at all BR abilities and BG"s. Then you will see that Serpent is generally weaker than other clan. Serpent might be good against Wolf, but against Dragon and Lotus i think it will take .1 more than a serpent.

U said that Serpent can counter any clan. So here give me a counter force for this army consists of

4 dragonwarriors/chi

4 sam/iron skin

2 kabuki/flash

2 kabuki/stardust

4 kegs/ID

4 archers/fire

2 archers/sight arrow

5 geisha/sac

1 dragon spirit (more spirit might be available)

I bet any serpent army cannot defeat this Dragon army. Lets say, Bandits? Ronnins? Canons? Musk? xbow? At most u can have ronins and musk are a few because if you have lots of ronnnis and musks, you will lose the game ezily. xcross attack is weak, but weaken bolts are good though. Bandits cannot kill Dragon melee units. so u must depend on canons or Bandits, but these units can't do much damage to Dragon's army. Sam and dragonwarriors have good blunt res. Smoke can't stop them. Paralyzed darts might be good, but you can't paralyze lots of Dragon's army unless u mass Bandits. Even if you mass Bandits, you still can't win. Cannon will just stand there smoking and taking damage from archers and sam and dragonwarriors. Serpent healers won't help much because after one spirit, healers are gone. Necro can run around for while and raise zombie and spirits. But Necro alone won't help serpent survive. The only chance is to use utara in melee when Dragon uses all spirit.

Now it is your time to explain how u play your serpent to kill this Dragon army.

Of course Serpent can win due to how Dragon micro the army. Micro is very important.

If you have good micro, you can win in almost every situation, I don't know if you pay attention to it but micro is probably the most important thing in the game.

And to counter that spirit use dark pact, whole army stays alive and it's even amount vs even amount.

I can won a very good dragon player with my serpent, but it takes us about 2 hours to finish it... He Spirit me 3 times consecutively but my unit still alive... How? I spread my units... Healer far apart...

If All of my units die (except necromanzer).. I can still have a chance.. my 3 towers and mines far apart... The time he hit my mines is the time I make my new units.. I summon my new heroes and 3 spirit warrior... Do good micro.. then he will go back to his base and make his new dragon's spirit...

I also agree that serpent can kill any clan.

serpent will always lose cause they have scattered good resistances. Most of the units are small that height advantage will be tricky and some of their attack power are weak like raiders....hehehe....

I said this before but I will say it again. No one clan is the best, they all have their strengths and they all have their weaknesses. If you use the clan right you can win eveytime. Some clans are not as good against some other clans but if you play it right you should be able to win.

Dragon is the best clan in the game because it balances tech with magic, making it rather versatile. However, Serpent leans more toward tech, making it effective against the prodominately magic Lotus clan.

Hi Fresco, I think Serpent can kill every clan, and I did it. Darky is better than me playing dragon, but I can still handle his dragon using my serpent... Just think about it.. You also watch our game right? And you also see that I did a lot of mistake, and that's possible for me to lose against his dragon.

Hello again, Raider is not weak actually... Also, raider is not design to kill units... It is design to burn buildings...

I lost all games that day.. So, it's nothing wrong if you can beat serpent using dragon. If you want to know the real power of serpent against dragon, play me again.. Yes, I know I lost to you 2 games Baxter, the first game is I am not there when you attack me and I forgot to let you know. The second game, I lost, I am there, but I didn't make the right unit to counter your whirling spear.. It is still my mistake because I lost... Anyway baxter, you're good I know... But Other dragon's players are a lot better... I can still won them.. I team with you sometimes and I know how you play.. You are not fast enough, but you still good..

The only reason that I lost is that because I didn't try... I didn't try to make the right unit against your units.. I don't try because I know your dragon is not hard.. But for my mistake.. Your Whirling Spears kill all of my army..

and Ben, u show me how serpent can win Dragon in a long game. I put out a Dragon army distribution for You Ben to counter in a long game. Did u even come up with your counter army? I am very curious to know your counter army. Here is again the Dragon army.

2 archers/sight arrow

1 chemist/mandrake

1 or 2 spirits

Tao and monks if u use heroes

Now my micro on this army is, as it is a long game so I can get lots of yangs for spirits and upgrade my archers and geisha or even sam, kabuki and dragonwarriors. Perhaps get a few horses for the geishas. My army is specifically built to kill cannons and bandits. You can mug my BG's, but sam and dragonwarriors have good blunt res. Bandits might be a little better than canons fighting sam and dragonwarriors. You can use paralyzed darts, but i guess you don't have enough to stun all my sam and dragonwarriors unless u mass bandits(that is weak). Talking about musk, ronnins, swordmen, I have no worries about them. One spirit should take care of them. Now this just is the comparison between Dragon units to Serpent units. Of coures micro will determine the game. The way i play is very patient. I don't just send in all my force to be in my opponent's sight. I use sight arrow to scout then ID. If there is a large army of musk or ronnins standing close to gether, I will use spirit then my opponent is outnumbered. When i use ID, i don't let Kegs run out of stamina. I'll stop a little b4 they run out of stamina becaus i want to run them back when pursued by my opponent. Canons can't hurt kegs much, so either musk or bandits will persue my kegs. Then I can send a few sam/iron skin to attack the pursuing units. Then run them back fast. If my opponent still pursue, archers will start shooting. And when my opponent realize that he has to retreat his pursuing units, send in kabuki to flash them. This will at least take a few lives. Now if my opponent sends all his or her force to pursue and then attack, that will be too ez for my Drgaon army to kill them. I just keep doing this until my opponent comes out of town or out of towres range. If not, Ill just keep invading and destroy towers. Of couse i need to keep a few units back in town to spot raiders and kill them. So now u see that Dragon can attack from afar, even farther than snipers. Also that Serpent is limited to a very small number of training musk and ronnins. However, mugging may destroy this strat. But that is hardly.

I wanna see how u approach to prove your statement that serpent can beat all clans. Ben, please proceed with your army and micro. I am waiting.

Dark pact helps but it won't help serpent beat Dragon. And when do u know that Dragon spirit will be fired? Or u can just keep activating dark pact. Well even with dark pact, most of serpent units will be near death. You gotta try what you say in the game b4 you post it.

Ben, spreading your army is what i do too when i play against Dragon in a long game. But y would i use spirit on your scattered army? How do you stop my invading strat with ID. Of course only fools will run into towers and attack. I don't play like that. I take down the towers first b4 i go into my opponent's town. ID can do just the work. Fire arrow can burn when you have no snipers guarding your towers. If you build your towers far out from your town, i can just sac 1 or 2 archres to burn. But i prefer ID, the best way. I bet with sight arrow and ID, Dragon can force your army out of your serpent defense and attack. This will give advantage to Dragon who awaits for this opportunity. Remeber, sight arrow or Arah can scout and know almost every move serpent make.
