Yesterday at my school, I saw a guy and a girl with a Obama/Biden T-shirt and I saw a teacher with a Obama hat. Does that tells you something?
Alucard winrar 0 #8 Posted November 5, 2008 At least the election is finally over. I wasnt really impressed with either of them but Obama was the one that less scared me.
You suck and have no life 203 #9 Posted November 5, 2008 What else do you want? Obama is already a Harvard law graduate and a great speaker. You have to put things in relative terms. The president before him is Bush.

The president before him is Bush. Good point. He's plenty qualified but I havent heard much from him beyond 'Change' 'Yes we can' 'hope' or other such vague terms. That may be because the average american is an idiot but I'd like to see how he plans on doing that stuff.
Camail 1 #11 Posted November 5, 2008 To be blunt, you're just going to have to trust him. Until the public is lacking all ignorance ( which is impossible) no candidate will view too much opinion, in fear of losing votes. Based on the general democratic agenda this will have to do. If you have a policy..not everyone will like it. So all you need to do is a have a couple of policies and everyone will be somewhat displeased; the other candidate then just rails on your policies and makes you look worse than him..and he wins. It's not about looking the best in the US, it's about not looking the worst - which is unfortunate.

Oww My Nose 19 #18 Posted November 7, 2008 Yes, I still think that she can't be worse than Bush... I mean seriously. do you know if Africa is a continent? if the answer was yes, you are more suited to be a presidential candidate than her
Mana 3,867 #19 Posted November 7, 2008 Aww poor thing, where did you get it from? Wonder if Palin will be part of the 2012 election, that would be fun!
Corazu 0 #20 Posted November 7, 2008 Aww poor thing, where did you get it from?Wonder if Palin will be part of the 2012 election, that would be fun! I would seriously doubt the intelligence of the republicans...ok, more so than now...if they nominated her for the 2012 election. Not that it matters much..assuming Obama follows through on ANYTHING; he'll likely get re-elected. 8 years of Bush and he did NOTHING except start 2 wars without exit strategies and cripple the economy. WTB President that focuses on issues at home rather than interfering in other countries, kthx. Especially if he finds Osama. That would epic..Obama walks into Afghanistan and just finds him. He'd be the winrar.

He'd be the winrar. Unlike finding a criminal in our own country it is virtually impossible to get jurisdiction for such a wild goose chase in the places he could be and can be ( i.e most Arabian country wold be easy for him to access). He won't be found, but he will hide for the rest of his life. Finding Osama was just a ploy to get more support, when there is virtually no way of doing anything substantial.
