Rydawg 14 #1 Posted November 8, 2008 Was contacting via IM through streaam today from AdminTOS. claiming that my account was stolen and has logged many ISP. He then asked for my personal info in order to 'get me clear' of the issue. It sounded fishy so i just told him if steam had an issue with me, they would contact me via e-mail as they usually do w/ people. He then said he would contact me via e-mail and asked for my current e-mail, told him my e-mail that steam has is the same one ive always had..... Anyways just want to give people a heads up. Mana 3,867 #10 Posted November 11, 2008 1) All of the Steam windows have a note saying at the very top to "Not give out personal info" 2) If you attempt to send your password Steam will tell you not to do it If you still send it then you are retarded and your account will hopefully get vac banned by the person who you gave it to.
